Nice job!
ОтветитьMr. Demir, I really enjoyed the vide, i want to do that in my house. One question, how did you came up with the total measurement where all the boars came up exactly - (frame spacing )
ОтветитьI’ve been selling lumber and composite decking for 30 plus years and his application is fine….some of these comments are comical
ОтветитьNo levelling ? What about using self sticking rubber protection to avoid contact between wood and concrete ?
ОтветитьWow it is very professional work man

ОтветитьI have this same composite boards for my deck and we put it together using those clips. For us, it was a big mistake because we have small oak leaves that get caught in the clips. I bought a special tool to clean the leaves between the boards but every tool I have tried does not clean the small leaves from each clip (and we have a lot of them). If I had to do it over again, I would screw in each board side by side instead of the clips (like we did on our front deck). But you made an excellent video. Thanks for sharing.

ОтветитьThis is a beautiful deck, love the way it came out.
ОтветитьFajnie zrobione, ale myślę że za nisko te deski przy ziemi. Za jakiś czas to wszystko przegnije.
ОтветитьWrong wood for concrete, it will rot in a year 🙁
ОтветитьYou have some metal (look like cleats ) on the bottom of the joists, what are they for ? Composite decking , is that a fibre board (MDF) ?
ОтветитьTreated lumber buddy.
ОтветитьId coat the 2x4 in some used oil. Will help with delaying the bottom framing from rotting sooner
ОтветитьIs there no risk of rainwater containment since there is no space between the floor and the beams that support the deck?
ОтветитьWell done it was pure joy watching your video
ОтветитьTHIS DECK WILL ROT IN UNDER 10 YEARS
ОтветитьVery very nice 👍 cool good job 👍👍

ОтветитьOk, as a first time Trex guy I have questions that some dialog might have helped with.
1. Why are we using pressure treated wood under a plastic deck? That seems like it defeats the purpose of using something that will never rot. Also why not put the wood up on spacers of some sort just to lift it off the concrete enough so as not to make a pressure treated swimming pool when it rains?
2. And most importantly, how did that work out perfectly so you didn't have to rip your last piece to fit. I didn't see you space out your pieces to account for any discrepancy between the overall size of the deck versus the width of each individual board. Did you just get lucky or was that somewhere in the planning slash purchasing process? Man, if you got that lucky I hope you went and got a lottery ticket that same afternoon.
Anyway, thanks for the video, I just wish you had added some dialog to clear these questions up.
You did not give expansion joints under the jois for the outflow of water
ОтветитьHow do you keep the framing from getting wet and (because it sits on the slab) holding moisture which will eventually cause rot?
ОтветитьThose real wood for sure rotten

ОтветитьVery nice job. I'll be following your plan when i get ready to do mine.
ОтветитьБРАКОДЕЛЫ
ОтветитьI'm confident I can do this now
ОтветитьNice deck but it appears that drainage may be a problem. Treated lumber rots too especially if subject to water immersion. Actually the treatment does not penetrate the wood completely so ripping the boards would expose untreated wood too. Preserative should be applied to the ripped edges.
ОтветитьFraco profissional
ОтветитьWhat will you do when the concrete shifts and makes humps in your deck? We can already see that you had cracks you needed to fill. I build decks and will never ever set joists directly on concrete. No longevity. The rot and mold is a big issue as well. Looks very nice but no longevity.
Ответитьthanks for the good explanation and pint pointed all importance notes, learn a lot, appreciate it
ОтветитьYou make it a lot harder by installing the picture frame frist. Buy or rent a track Saw
ОтветитьBELLO E INTERESSANTE VIDEO .

Nice job building that deck....they do make the same screws with a special driver bit that countersinks and bores a hole that you hammer in a plug to finish and the screws can't be seen.
ОтветитьJust a thought , are we still below the damp course of the property?
ОтветитьI think your screw is too close to the edge. Is that just camera angle or there is a purpose?
ОтветитьCan Trx be miterd or what ? So many people say different things
ОтветитьShouldn't there be a small expansion gap between the picture frame joints?
ОтветитьIsn't it discouraged to place the wood directly on the concrete? Also does it not make sense to make the frame from material that has similar lifespan to the decking material? It seems like the wood is going to give out much much sooner than the laminate. Awesome project otherwise.
ОтветитьΜπράβο ρε παίχτη ! Very beautiful video ! Congartulations !
