Love these type of vids 👍 , thanks Robbie
ОтветитьHey Robbie just wondering what introduced fish have you caught i know you have caught septic fish (common carp) British perch (Redfin) roach and rainbow and brown trout and also a oriental weatherloach and I think you got a tench too if you did in a video what is it called and what is the tench video called
ОтветитьGreat video mate, love the underwater footage
ОтветитьYeah it is a spiny Murray Cray
ОтветитьI have pictures of a small one up close (can send them if U would like to see) and just depends on the quality of water and sometimes their claw just get stained and a good scrub will remove the browness
ОтветитьNice one Robbie
ОтветитьI think they look like an eastern crayfish to me robbie
ОтветитьComment posters are illegal!
BUILD a bridge losers!
Nice blackies! Always good to see!
ОтветитьLooks like a HEALTHY waterway dude!
ОтветитьThere are fresh water Lobster in Tassie that to huge sizes. They have been protected since 1990 i think. Also a unique, isolated species
ОтветитьVery nice. That echidna footage would give David Attinburra a run for his money i reckon, 😅👍
ОтветитьAnother great video mate
ОтветитьWe catch some in the Barwon river that look pretty much the same as that and yet I’m not to sure what ones they are can’t get over the black fish in there that’s crazy for a stream up north cheers mate
ОтветитьHey Robbie, just starting to get into cod and yellow belly fishing and was wondering, if you had to choose between the Orange Predator lure, the Green Old Mate or one of the One Well lures, what would you choose and what size?
ОтветитьMate I feel ya pain big fella, I’ve stuff up many times doing that! Mate some of my best friggen fish, that ive thought I’d cauth the whole shenanigans on film, Only to find later no footage and my missus accusing me of going to the pub and strippers ! Like WTF? I’d rather fish any day! Hahaha. I do have an excuse though, my missus knows I’m a complete Tech-TARD haha, that’ll only work for so long thought aye. Stay safe brother
ОтветитьHello Robbie. Thank you for the video/videos. Hey you. Subscribe. 😎
ОтветитьRobbie Off topic, but at my local creek i catch bright blue ones with white claws, what species are they?
ОтветитьGreat work Robbie, what a session 👏
ОтветитьAwsome video Robbie, how is your saitica going?
Ответитьthe crayfish species can interbreed too, which makes it difficult to identify. i wonder about the presence of feces in the water, since these looked like they've been sitting in sewage. i know this from crayfishing in streams that had unlawful septic draining into them.
ОтветитьHey Robbie, if you’re looking to do a carp video you should check out the Wonga Wetlands in west Albury, specifically the pier. I fish there often and it’s crazy the amount of carp you can catch.
ОтветитьGreetings from Florida! i love the underwater cam!
ОтветитьLove ya work Robbie, The One with the sort of white claws might be a cross breed.
ОтветитьDifferent looking crayfish?
Great video. A friend a biologist did this during a friend's wake at Hencamp creek North Queensland and filmed jungle perch turtle and small crayfish.
Thanks for the video
Fishing regulations are so out of whack, in Qld if we catch a tilapia we can kill it and bin it or whatever but not allowed to take it home and eat it 😂
ОтветитьOnly “ekiddin”ya mate,
ОтветитьTiny crays.
Go to East Gippsland and land a fifty centimetre Spiny Cray.
As soon as I see "includes paid promotion" I add the channel to "DO NOT RECOMMEND CHANNEL"
Ответитьthey're like mini lobsters 😅... we don't have them in Italy.
I think it would be better with a keepnet.
then, do you eat them or use them as bait?
This is Illegal 😮 joking 😂 loved the video mate thank you
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьYou know what I like about your videos? Your caring for the environment, love of fishing and general enthusiasm. Go well fella.
ОтветитьProbably a marron, usually a kangaroo island or western Australia species that has been released live
ОтветитьGreat to watch as always thanks Mate!
Wishing you and Family a great AUSTRALIA DAY :)
Ripper video, that was an epic blackfish 😁🎣
ОтветитьI cut my teeth chasing Blackfish and a fish we called to-pong in the Glenelg River back in the late 50s. I now live and fish in far Nth Qld. Not so long back I did some research on the afore mentioned fish and doing the black Fisk but not the to-pong, perhaps the answer lies in the spelling. Do you know of such a species?
ОтветитьFor a minute I was very concerned Australia had got itself an infestation of Signal crayfish, Pacifastacus leniusculus. Those invasive bar stewards have destroyed many fisheries and river systems in Europe and the UK. What a relief you're ok.
ОтветитьW Yabbies
ОтветитьHey robbie, not sure if youll see this. I want to do some cod fishing with a rod that has 30lb line with no leader. Do cod see my heavy line or should i get some of tje special line cod cant see.
ОтветитьI was going to say " Robbie, I think those are Spiny Crayfish " good job catching that nice sized Blackfish
ОтветитьLooks like you may be in the yarra valley, the re are 3 different crays up there l dont know the names but have caught all three ,all have spikes but are completely different.

ОтветитьYour entire country is dying and they don’t even protect the most unique and endangered crayfish in the world. Leave maurrys alone they’re literally dinosaurs that can outlive you. I’m so tired of humans destroying environments.
ОтветитьHey there brother. I love your work Mate. I think it’s illegal to use a rake for fishing because their not leaves Dude Lol. Leaf the fishies or you’ll rack em in Barhahaha…!!! It takes all sorts. There are over 337 species of crustaceans in Australia and of course there will be more to find. Hopefully yours is but I’m sure it’s calcium and fungi buildup from the creek not running fast enough. I’d love to do a book on it on day. Cheers my friend and thank you for sharing. Neil…
ОтветитьBlack crayfish is Murray crayfish black crayfish with white claws is a keiwa crayfish then common for those areas is another black crayfish and it has really elongated close more light the American crawfish which lives in small creeks and billabongs
ОтветитьGreat video robbie
