Arena players are horrible. Most cannot even handle 1 loss without losing thier minds and raging.

True story. Long ago in a far away realm I was in the top pvp guild on the server.
This was when youd hit arenas for 10 wins to cap CPs for the week.
A shadow priest in my guild named Spit said he was capped for the week and wanted to help others cap. I said I would love to but I too was a shadow priest and duel shadow priest was a bad comp at the time.
He said he was a great player and could easily carry a duel spriest comp.
I knew duel spriest was bad but he insisted he was good emough to carry at low rating.
Needless to say we lost the first 2 matches and he went off like a spoiled child attacking me and I told him duel spreist was bad.
That was when I stopped doing 2s and 3s until solo shuffle.
Tried shuffle when it first dropped and discovered once again most arena players are ment ally unstable brats and cannot handle 1 loss.
Walked away from arenas forever. Too many Varuca Salts doing it. Babies for sure.

2v2 and 3v3 which are decently active = 30s to 1 min queue. Hardest part: have a friend who's into pvp to queue with you.
solo shuffle which completely dwarfs the other two brackets = 12 min to 45 minutes queue and sometimes get into a shitty lobby with completely fucked mmr. Players with zero rating and 1900 mmr getting into a 2k lobby, completely lost and undergeared.

I tried solo shuffle with my honor geared MW monk. Scored a 6-0 in the first shuffle
In the second one I got into a 2.4k lobby and got completely smashed by a very angry warrior. Scored a 0-6
Solo shuffle is a cool idea, but MMR is horrible. I'd rather go the old way and use this massive multiplayer game to actually make friends.
I'm having the most fun in 2v2 sometimes 3v3, just playing casual with my friends, with very short queues and I don't need to play a healer class to avoid waiting 30 min to get into a game

The fact gnome wasn't mentioned for warrior is criminal - warrior is borderline unplayable without gnome just look at the ladder for fucks sake.

I think blizzard should make awc teams use no addons, i think it would make things more spicy

When people playing the game mode with most participation, spend most of their time in queues, then yes, it's dead.

The biggest design flaw in wow pvp is its healers. Alongside the number of addons and trying to balance 3/4 specs for 13 classes in both pvp and pve with very few differences between them.

Someone remember the times where we had to make our own omnibar by editing interruptbars addon file and add the spells you want to track there?

I havent pvp'd in several weeks...I'm not a 1800+ but enjoy it. It's gotten toxic and unforgiving as a healer. Not much fun in that.

addons for players who cant play the game and need to cheat

people who complain about add-ons are too dumb or too lazy to put in the work to make good use of them. btw, just bc people have a bunch of info on their ui does not mean they have an advantage. i can put every single cooldown on omnibar but that’s way worse than just having interrupts and big cds. what a 1400 pvp take

PvP is pretty much dead for wow! Too many moves and addons that really takes no skills!

Just by looking at the comments on this video, it's clear that most comments about WoW PvP are negative. So yeah, WoW PvP does seem to be toxic. On the other hand, comments on Skill Capped's League of Legends videos tend to be relatively positive.

TLDR; Yes, hence why it has a such a small following. thankfully PvP brings all the toxic garbo together so everyone else doesn't have to deal with any of them.

14 years of playing on and off yes and no hard to explain fully but people speedrunning in dungeons has been the worst and I’m including all the bad stuff I’ve experienced.

I fully believe you should NOT be able to track enemy cd's. Pay attention to their bar and see if they have the buff. This is why pvp is so bad. Completely different game when im playing knowing your exact moves as opposed to guessing if your cd is back up yet

I actively promote positive social interaction in solos/PvP. Not all rogues are toxic.

the night elf rogue is leagues above

i basically get a free vanish, which means more huge garrotes and more time spent in stealth while my opponents rot their brains out helplessly

How come that pretty much every single raider and m+ player have weakauras of their abilities in middle of screen and use elvui, but pvp player never do that?

I kind of wanted to start retail pvp again but the explanation for the gearing system completely killed off my motivation. Also the insane long queues are a big ooof

When looking to get into arena, DO NOT go 2v2 before shuffle... That was horrendously bad advice.

I remember in df Season one i played Arena one game WE were close to a win but WE Lost there was only ggs and well played and thats it After that i joined a vault of the incarnate LFR and got thé hands drop because i didnt want to give it to someone they told me to go unistall myself IRL

25-30 min queues for soloq at 1600 rating kills the game lol
