How to resume to normal operation?
(*should only be done after replaced the brake pad, and caliper has been tightened.)
step:
1.reconnect negative batt terminal
2.Turn On (do not start) IG switch
3.The warning lamp, indicator lamp, display at panel should be activate as follows:
i. brake warning lamp (red) : blinks
ii. EPB switch indicator lamp (yellow): blinks
iii."Parking Brake Service Required" will display
4.Operate the Parking Brake switch to apply parking brake.(this will push out the brake caliper piston )
5.when the normal operation resume, the brake warning lamp (red), abd Parking Brake switch indicator lamp(yellow) should stay on and no more flash /blinking.
anyone can do this in a text format? I cant capture this so fast and the music resets my brain after each step...
ОтветитьRidiculously poor video
ОтветитьIf you get rid of that music and verbally explain the procedure it would be great...
ОтветитьThis video was perfect shows you in real time how to do it. Works everytime
ОтветитьYeah that music sucked
ОтветитьDrugs are bad
Ответитьfor this reason not more Mitsubishi in my life. the engineer don’t think in DYI, change oil, brake, etc. And they put this garbage process for thousand of people DYI.
ОтветитьThe AAA put this mode on my car and now it wouldn’t go off. Does anyone know how to take it off?
ОтветитьFor everyone that followed this or any other video... all these methods do not work, they will just give your vehicle an error code that only if you have a high end obd2 scanner can erase or your certified dealer and it is really pricey to get it erased so word of advice from experience, just get a scanner from advance that has the EPB service and do it right, it'll save you some money and many headaches
ОтветитьI have that problem now. How to removed it?
ОтветитьI changed my break pads with out doing this and after I changed em the Parking break service light keeps blinking and beeping. How do I take it out of that mode to where its not blinking at all or beeping?

Would have been nice if you SLOWED down the process and get rid of the crappy music in the background, and you do not mention how to get the system back up and running!!!!!
ОтветитьHEY I TRIED THR DEACTIVATION METHOD. IT WONT COME OUT OF THE SERVICE MODE.
ОтветитьI work at a ford dealership why do I have to deal with this junk? I did what you did because Mitchell 1 showed it that way, now the parking brake switch is blinking and there’s nothing on the dash
