The only one of these I disagree with was Assassins - that was a great movie. Most of these I didn't see.

I liked a couple of these movies, but I love how Ebert just ripped all of these a new one. I miss his wit and humor.

Oddly, this came up as a result from a search of “Kentucky fried movie reaction”. It was Siskel who was the humorless stick in the mud about that one.

This man championed Dark City and said its one of the best sci fi films ever made and he is so spot on correct...I miss Ebert so much.

Her voice is a taste I might've aqquired, if she'd been in a silent movie. Ha ha, love you Roger, still miss your show.

Or… Assassins is awesome. lol.

You can add Howard The Duck and Leonard Part 6 to the list of incredibly bad movies. To this day I do not know what George Lucas was thinking when he made Howard The Duck. Why didn't someone close to him tell him the movie was terrible while he was making it.

Huh. I enjoyed Patch Adams, Armageddon, Mercury Rising and many other films this man finds unacceptable. Entertainment is a highly subjective thing.

Roger and his partner Gene were a part of the world I grew up in, and are sorely missed. I hope wherever they are that they have great seats and tons of popcorn with extra butter.

I personally dismiss anything a critic says because a person who cannot perform will always critique but never offer any advice of value.

Ebert is an assclown, I hope he is watching "cool as ice" on repeat in hell. This movie was extremely good, it is super accurate to the real world and very politically incorrect. This movie was amazing!!!

Opinions about movies are completely subjective. Of course everyone agrees though the greatest film ever made is John Water’s “Female Trouble”.

Siskel, Ebert and Jay Sherman will always be my favorite film critics.

I watched the "vile bag of garbage" "I Spit on Your Grave" surreptitiously, when I was fifteen, largely because I had read Roger's review and, as adolescents will, I said, "One of the worst movies ever? Vile bag of garbage? Gotta see it!" Friends, it traumatised me. Roger focussed on the audience which was actually cheering on the action (which I won't recap here) throughout, as though at a sporting event. It was a splendid piece of journalism, and I wish my experience of the film it described had been confined to it alone.
