ОтветитьAnd his wife was black? Legend. World misses you.
ОтветитьBrilliant.
ОтветитьThe only one of these I disagree with was Assassins - that was a great movie. Most of these I didn't see.
ОтветитьI liked a couple of these movies, but I love how Ebert just ripped all of these a new one. I miss his wit and humor.
ОтветитьBeautician and the beast does look horrendous in the clips shown here😂
ОтветитьMan, Roger Ebert was brutally honest. He didn't hold back on his reviews.
ОтветитьSiskel & Ebert are among the unsung fixtures of my childhood. I miss them & those days independant of one another.
ОтветитьArmegeddon is Church. That movie is awesome, and I think very plausable and logical. I mean, im sure theyre great astronauts, but they DONT KNOW JACK ABOUT DRILLING!!!
ОтветитьDidn’t he write beyond the valley of the dolls? And he’s coming for Spice World?
ОтветитьOk so he just said he didn't like cockroaches, he didn't say he hated Joe's Apartment.
ОтветитьOddly, this came up as a result from a search of “Kentucky fried movie reaction”. It was Siskel who was the humorless stick in the mud about that one.
ОтветитьThis man championed Dark City and said its one of the best sci fi films ever made and he is so spot on correct...I miss Ebert so much.
ОтветитьHer voice is a taste I might've aqquired, if she'd been in a silent movie. Ha ha, love you Roger, still miss your show.
ОтветитьOr… Assassins is awesome. lol.
ОтветитьI never had any desire to watch any of these movies.
ОтветитьAn intelligent movie reviewer who was an expert in his profession
ОтветитьAssassins is pretty good actually!
ОтветитьYou can add Howard The Duck and Leonard Part 6 to the list of incredibly bad movies. To this day I do not know what George Lucas was thinking when he made Howard The Duck. Why didn't someone close to him tell him the movie was terrible while he was making it.
ОтветитьCritics and anyone who listens to critical are retards. Like shady says, "what's your talent oh criticing my talent"
ОтветитьKeep in mind: Ebert gave a thumbs down to Blue Velvet.
ОтветитьI love Armageddon and liked Volcano. Everything else sucks.
Ответить"Don't kill the kid, kill the programmers" 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьHuh. I enjoyed Patch Adams, Armageddon, Mercury Rising and many other films this man finds unacceptable. Entertainment is a highly subjective thing.
ОтветитьEbert was based af lol
Ответитьspice world is fine, if you take if for what it is.
ОтветитьThe late great Roger Ebert was the Gordon Ramsey of movie critics.
ОтветитьDidn't he write "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls"?!?
ОтветитьRoger was a gem
ОтветитьRoger and his partner Gene were a part of the world I grew up in, and are sorely missed. I hope wherever they are that they have great seats and tons of popcorn with extra butter.
ОтветитьI personally dismiss anything a critic says because a person who cannot perform will always critique but never offer any advice of value.
ОтветитьWhen I was a kid I had a crush on Fran Drescher. True story. I watched The Nanny religiously.
ОтветитьRoger Ebert reaction if he saw Emilia Pérez
ОтветитьEbert is an assclown, I hope he is watching "cool as ice" on repeat in hell. This movie was extremely good, it is super accurate to the real world and very politically incorrect. This movie was amazing!!!
ОтветитьJoes Apartment is a classic
ОтветитьThis is the guy who called 12 year old Emma Watson a "babe" in his harry potter review.
ОтветитьOpinions about movies are completely subjective. Of course everyone agrees though the greatest film ever made is John Water’s “Female Trouble”.
ОтветитьSchindlers List wasn’t that bad Rodge
ОтветитьThe "Volcano" is Drano.
ОтветитьTruth, these "bad" films are far entertaining than most of present day CGI fest movies that we get in theatres today..
ОтветитьCan you imagine how triggered he would get with todays movies lol, he will have a rage fest!!
ОтветитьHey Beethoven 2 isn’t bad
ОтветитьHey I actually liked some but not all the movies in this video.
ОтветитьDid he really just put patch Adams in with the rest of those movies? How is he ever paid for his opinions?
ОтветитьSiskel, Ebert and Jay Sherman will always be my favorite film critics.
ОтветитьI watched the "vile bag of garbage" "I Spit on Your Grave" surreptitiously, when I was fifteen, largely because I had read Roger's review and, as adolescents will, I said, "One of the worst movies ever? Vile bag of garbage? Gotta see it!" Friends, it traumatised me. Roger focussed on the audience which was actually cheering on the action (which I won't recap here) throughout, as though at a sporting event. It was a splendid piece of journalism, and I wish my experience of the film it described had been confined to it alone.
ОтветитьI miss Roger Elbert. RIP sir
ОтветитьThis is the lowest of the low "film criticism". Shocking that this untalented, dense, fat loser was able to build such a successful career.
ОтветитьI thought “Joe’s Apartment “ was hilarious!🤣 😅😂
