I've been studying music for quite a few years now and have gone through every phase, from the diehard metalhead to the "sophisticated" music listener
Who could have imagined that such a simple (not that much actually) pop/rock band like KoL would have taken my heart

War is never beautiful ! War is cruel and ugly ! Hearts get broken beyond repair ! I am dead because of this ugly war ! They killed and murdered me in this ugly war and then they gloriously went ahead and justified the gruesome and ugly honour killing as necessary revenge ! I hate war !

I listen to this song once a month because I controlled my anger when my ex found a new boyfriend..she was in my car at a 7-11 and he blocked me in..i boxed nearly gold glove and he never hit even a wall..that girl was my own personal beautiful war and i still love her 20 years later

I’m 55 years old & been married a few times. I must say this song/lyrics are an example of what everyone must work towards when things get rocky in their relationship. With the exception of either abuse & or cheating.

When the time comes I will definitely suggest my children listen to this song. Letting one’s ego get in the way while being quick to the draw (breaking up/divorce) is definitely not something worth fighting for.

Damn I have five brothers the oldest will be 70 in two days. I’m 56 the youngest is 53 and I’ve fought all of them multiple times a plethora of reasons and opportunities. I big man’s hands are big and are pushed by goodness until a brother goes up against brother. More that once it was 5 against 1. I sure hope it never gets that way between brothers or siblings.

2024, damn, that's 10 years. I have a feeling I'll come back here in 2034, and this song will melt my fairly rigid soul again.

And I'll keep coming back here till the end, just to be amazed by a simple rock band that was just too profound.

Saw them in concert just a few weeks ago….sounds even better live….which I didn’t think possible. Not to mention I had never heard this song until the concert…..was incredibly powerful to hear a song I never knew I needed live as the first time.

I came here because of the Dunhelm Mills in store radio. I'd never heard it before, found out what it was because I loved the sound of it and then watched this very music video on the bus coming home with tears in my eyes. The video just blew Ms away, it's brilliant.
