I am 55 and i listen to it Yesterday and Today. Leonard Haze; that great man and super drummer lives forever. Thanks man!
ОтветитьUnderrated my ass. It’s a shame some of you think stating that horseshit somehow shows how much you loved them, but it makes you look foolish. There was nothing about them that was underrated. Musicians damn sure knew they were kings. Haze had, hands down, the best right foot in the biz. Dave’s voice, tonal quality and guitar tone are completely unique. Phil’s writing and bass playing was perfectly meshed and then Joey’s rhythm playing was thunderous, but never overdone. When Ronny Montrose speaks highly of you, you know you’re an axe master. They were a Band in the truest sense and anything, but underrated.
ОтветитьWowwwwwwwww
ОтветитьIf this audio is representative of the live sound, these guys are fuckin tight. Way better than GnR live (except for 2 years 1988-1990 when they were the kings of live music).
ОтветитьQue gran banda infravalorada !
ОтветитьThe Open Fire album is the absolute shit man..all live. I saw this band open for Motley Crue they kicked their ass.
ОтветитьLeonard Haze was the only drummer that really fit this band, his playing and sound was present but understated and let the band shine without drowning them out with super loud toms..he had a musical flow that complimented the whole band without being obnoxious...R.I.P Leonard!!!!
ОтветитьMy first concert ever and I will never forget how amazing it was!
ОтветитьHAZE!
Ответитьi love Y&T, the only bad thing on this video concert is that cameras are too much too focus in Dave , he is the frontman of course but it could have had much better prodution i think...
Ответить53 now, going for 54 yrs summertime to turn. If The God gives it'n'that.
ОтветитьI remember. We only rushed to The borderline. Then we bought, some C-cassettes from J-music (Haparanda/Swe) . Some one got Y&T. An' we other were, as like that: - whut on da ze Earth..? - Gee, it was only that - mighty marvellous Y&T on early 80's..! =D
ОтветитьPlease tell me this was the Cow Palace? I'm from Oregon and remember band shirts and radio ads giving it as a venue. Sadly I am and was too young to ever make it.
ОтветитьI was at that show in S.F. it was BAD ASS.
ОтветитьForever a TRUE Y&T faN! Been since 76....some friend bought over that 1st alBUm.......had to back up and puNT.... GREATEST rock n roll band ... PERIOD........LEOnard haZe!!! ...Bonham probably didn't want nothing to do with haze...whole band firing on all cYClinders....on this one ....from Augusta , GEORGIA....home of THE MASTER'S JAMES BROWN.......STEVE MORSE....anD ........me.....
ОтветитьY&T's music is sounding better than ever too me lately!👍✌️❤️🤘
ОтветитьSaw them twice in recent times… despite tuning a half step down… Dave sings and sounds exactly the same and Plays excellently still!!!
ОтветитьJust saw them last night in Redwood City Still amazing as ever ❤
Ответитьlenny rocks big influence on me drummin over the years paiste rudes rule and big ass toms
ОтветитьCool to see all these comments praising my cousin Leonard Haze. I never met him but my dad's uncle Billy was Leonard's dad. He told me about him coming over and playing his drum set when Haze was a little kid. Absolutely shredded his kit at 12 years old. My dad still talks about it at 70 years old, dad was 15 at the time. I've seen pics of Y&T as little kids in suits with a "Yesterday And Today" banner behind them.
Ответитьanyone have any info on Joey Alves' yellow flying v? i think it was a bolt on charvel.....may be wicked wrong?
ОтветитьAccording to an interview with Lars Ulrich, he had moved to LA to focus on a tennis career. However, he saw Y&T play a show in 1980, and it inspired him to put down his tennis racket and start focusing on music.
In other words, without these guys, we wouldn't have Metallica.
極上のHRに涙がでるぜ!!50周年LIVEで来日公演が決定したね!川崎でお愛いしましょう〰❤
ОтветитьRest in peace Leonard Hayes, Joey Alves and Lenny Beraz AKA: Rock the Robot ❤️
ОтветитьBolo
ОтветитьFormação classica, só o vocalista ta vivo
ОтветитьI saw the off of Black Tiger st L'Amours in NYC...Kick ass...2.5 hr show...was a fan since Yesterday and Today...just wish they got there fair shot...Joey and Dave were tremendous with Mr Haze and Mr Phil...definitely very underrated...
ОтветитьJ'écoute YandT depuis 1975....fan a jamais.......RiP.....
ОтветитьLéonard..Joe.. Phil...,.for ever..YandT
ОтветитьI've seen Y&T a dozen times here in Santa Cruz. I'm looking forward to seeing them again in a few months!
ОтветитьHad to become 71 years old to find this great guys by checking the line up for MORC 24. Looking forward to see them on stage soon.
Ответитьya see I met this girl in the 90's and put aside all these great shows - now we're not together any more and needless to say I should have chosen to see all these great shows rather than stay with her - oh well
ОтветитьAbsolutely KRACKEN 👌👍🤘🤘🤘🔥
ОтветитьGreat band. Its weird that the first band member you see enter to the stage was bassist Phil Kennemore with a cigarette dangling from his mouth. Eventually the talented bassist passed away from lung cancer at age 57 In 2011.
Ответитьmotley cruises in the same breath as Y@T.
FUCK NO!
old enough to remember seeing Y@T when they were, yesterday and today
these,those were SHOWS.

ОтветитьThe days when Rock had balls. Great band!

I loved their hits back then!! But was mostly a Van Halen follower!!
I have come back to get my Y&T education and I am passing all the classes!! Straight A’s
As in kick ass!
I love it!! Dave is such a fantastic musician along with the rest of the band!!

ОтветитьSaw current version of Y&T a week ago in Berkeley. Dave still got it. Go see them if you can. They are constantly on tour.

ОтветитьI saw them 9 times and was there Dave's solos we're amazing
ОтветитьI just saw the new y&t this Labor Day in Orville at feather falls casino and Dave still is amazing. The band put on a 2 hour show that was none stop! Thanks for all the years of great music guys, you still rock👍

ОтветитьI'm 62 and still loving Y&T as we speak ❤
ОтветитьSaw them several times in the early '80s, opening for Hagar, DIO, etc. They always put on a good show! I still have my autographed Mean Streak album from when they made an appearance at Tower Records in Sherman Oaks, Ca.
ОтветитьGod bless Bill Graham , he bought the best concerts to NorCal!
