I think what a lot of these guys fail to understand is that sanctification is not just on an individual basis.
God is reconciling the world to Himself through His people. This means that everything created (airplanes, mowing the lawn, fishing and yes politics) both visible and invisible must itself go through a sort of sanctification. And unlike salvation, sanctification is messy.
Like you said, the kings were saved, they had faith. But after that comes sanctification, and it’s not always clean cut.
I’m not making any excuses, abolition is necessary.
But I think a victory is still victory.

The reason why I dont want to use the word "victory" is because it is too undefined.

Are we talking about victory over a personal sin?

Are we talking about macro victories (aka God having victory in spite of evil)?

That is why I deleted my tweet which was essentially equivocating obedience to victory, if I recall correctly.

Needless to say, we can be happy when clinics shut down in a sense, but they are just replaced by hidden at home ABs.

But what we are forbidden to do is write partiality into law with a signing statement. Which you should watch the doug/russell debate if you havent already.

I'm not going to question anyone's Christian faith or anything...But Ben Z is just plain wrong as it pertains to his rigid Abolitionist stance in informing about who one should vote for. You ought not go against your conscience and you also mentioned this AD but I do not agree with it at all and I think the rigid line is going to backfire on them in the long run if he and Durbin etc don't adopt a more balanced, clear eyed, sober reality approach somehow. Otherwise I am also an abolitionist and know without a doubt that the woman should be held liable for murder with ANY abortive technique as much as the abortion provider should be jailed for life....

It's really interesting how quickly the Abolition movement is actually rising. It's really good.

It seems like what abolitionists keep trying to scream from the rooftop to other brothers and sisters is that when any other bill other than equal protection is passed, it makes it infinitely harder to get an equal protection bill passed there down the road. It actually ends up being counterproductive to the nth degree. Regardless of any Christian’s feelings toward incremental steps forward, it actually doesn’t matter. In reality, the incremental bills aren’t actually a step forward; they are actually 10 steps back in the process of passing laws. It’s so odd to me that the abolitionists keep explaining this over and over again and nobody can hear it- especially truly faithful brothers and sisters.

I’m an abolitionist. However, when an abolitionist refuses to vote for Trump they are condemning millions to death. How so? Trump steadfastly refused to fund our global abortion program. How many people were saved? How many abortions can 2.4 billion dollars, the amount of money given by Biden/Harris, buy? Millions. And they also use the money to train foreign abortionists. So do I wish Trump was consistently prolife? Yep. But to not vote for him is absurd.

Did I miss something??? Kamala and Timmy think it's okay for a momma and daddy to deliver a baby, and push it aside, to die, her body her choice; but you cannot refuse a jab if they deign it!! Also, rarely in a murder scenario is there an honest conversation between a doctor and a parent about their preborn baby...vendors do the tran$action$ and the 2nd murderer steps in at the last...
Lord help us!! Thanks for your videos!! We will win, with God, amen...

Wow, another great video. I will definitely be voting Thunder Puppy! Your videos are thought-provoking, and I have the hubris to post my thoughts here.

Most Christians know that Jesus was from the line of David. Most don't know that he was also from the line of Jezebel. I think God is trying to teach us something.

The most successful treatment program ever is Alcoholics Anonymous. They allow people who are falling down drunk into their meetings. (If you want to see God's hand at work in someone who was, at best, a fringe Christian, read Bill Wilson's autobiography.)

For the Jews the law was insufficient. The Abolitionists want to pass a law. Won't it be insufficient?

The strongest argument against antisemitism is not the holocaust. It is the pictures of the Holocaust. Why aren't anti-abortionists showing pictures of aborted babies? I have seen one, and I wanted to puke. It was not my dinner that I was trying to puke up. I wanted to puke up my sin. Everyone is born with the spark of God in them. Those pictures cause revulsion in that spark.

If my thoughts upset you, blame AD. Hubris and cowardice, what a tightrope I walk.

Thanks again, AD. May your family have life and have it more abundantly.

I'm kind of vexed with abortion abolitionists even though that is where my own policy position is. It is better to live in reality than in fantasy. There is work we can undertake now, but abortion abolition is an impossibility at this moment, and raging with fury at those who recognize this reality accomplishes nothing. You cannot implement laws that would have less than a negligible level of support. If you were to just leave the issue up to evangelical pastors right now--forget about the mostly unregenerate general population- you could not find significant support for holding aborting mothers accountable. Feminism is an almost unassailable idol in our culture at this time and that has to be reversed. Without bringing people back out of the insanity of feminism we are not going to be able to make the headway on abortion that we should be able to make. It is going to require a long struggle that could last for generations.

Nehemiah is a good example

The old folks who wept because the new temple wasn't as glorious as Solomon's?

They were rebuked
