I'm not gonna lie. It hurts to hear dude talking about a McCrispy like that's an actual chicken samdwich.

Historically speaking, Southerners were brought up eating biscuits at every meal. Some form of bread was always on the table for a meal in the South. Loaf bread, biscuits, or cornbread (fried in patties or baked like a cake) have been staples on a Southern table.

I encourage everyone to have your family members teach you how to make your favorite dishes so you can write down the recipe/instructions now. We lose out on this information (and the stories that go with them) after these family members pass.

The Bojangles in our town is a joke.
They are always out of something. Once they were out of chicken.
They had a sanitation grade so low once that it was closed down and nearly a whole new staff hired.

Everyone is so friendly because it’s the south. I’m in a mid-Atlantic area that is only pseudo southern. Pretty crabby to customers unless they know you (grew up here).

Definitely got to hit the South... My suggestions is try Bojangles for sure first then head over to Nashville and to Loveless Cafe... I promise you your taste buds will be blown away from the fried chicken and most definitely from their biscuits... by far the the best biscuits I've ever had.

if you are in the southern US and make it a point to be polite to the staff you will be treated like that everywhere; respect goes a long way down here.

Biscuits are made from soft red winter wheat, which is grown in the South and has a lower gluten content than most flours. It is definitely different than scone flour or bread flour. And, as any Southerner will tell you, White Lily self rising flour makes the best biscuits.

This IS the South and for most part - that’s how people treat each other even in fast food restaurants…I went shopping the other day and had a full on convo with some stranger in checkout…cuz we in the SOUTH - southern hospitality IS a thing

As someone who worked in food service for a while: In the U.S. you are trained to make the customer feel welcome. Obviously sometimes we have bad days and people dont feel it. Most of the time it is like that but some people in the u.s. make things bad for everyone acting out and being difficult.

They need to Jacks it's a southern thing but more around Alabama and Georgia

Look up a honey mustard recipe and make it at home. The most delicious honey mustard recipe I've ever tasted:

½ cup butter, melted
½ cup honey
¼ cup prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder

Brother…we gotta get you some Honey Mustard — It’s been my favorite chicken dipping sauce since I was like 5 and I never get tired of it. Assuming you’re as big of a mustard fan as I am, I promise you’d like honey mustard even more than you’re imagining. Buffalo is probably tied for the number one spot as well in my book

If you come to America just remember Bojangles is only in about 8 states in the South. So good though

Simple honey mustard recipe for you. 2 parts mayo, 1 part honey, 1 part mustard, and paprika to taste. Feel free to adjust it to your preference.

Lewis you recieved Bisquick. You can make 2 types of biscuits from that mix they have recipes for drop biscuits and rolled biscuits on the box and fried chicken. Get in there and start cooking!

Honey mustard 1 part mayonnaise 1/2 part Dijon mustard 1/4 part clover honey...mix with spoon taste should taste sweet and tangy equally

Strawberry shortcake on a drop biscuit cut in two add strawberries, cover with biscuit add more berries cover with whipped.cream. yum!

Southern biscuits are exclusively an american invention. They are so unbelievably unlike any other biscuits made anywhere in the world. To compare them to a scone is sacrilegious. They are their own thing. And they are very easy to make, water, flour, pinch of salt and sugar then fold in butter. Bake at 350 till golden brown. Boom you got american biscuits

Someone told me the secret to a juicy chicken breast: dry brining. Rub the raw chicken breast with salt and put it in the fridge for a few hours before you cook it.

Bojangles and Popeye's are the best chicken places ever. KFC is garbage now. They were good in the 80s, but now they have shitty biscuits and fake honey, etc. I haven't eaten at KFC in over 15 years. They suck here. Bojangles buttermilk biscuits are the size and consistency that KFC had 35+ years ago. Now they're are hard tiny hockey pucks. LOL. Fuck KFC! I will never eat there again unless they go back to the 80s. Same goes for most fast food places. Less food, worse quality, and more money. NOPE!
