what's the name of the song?

the producers let Johnny Reznik watch this movie and the next day he called back and said he had written a song for the movie from Nick Cage's character's perspective. He played the song Iris on an acoustic guitar and it sounded amazing. Luckily, the producer recorded it on cassette tape and you can actually find a copy of it on you tube. Later they went into the studio and Tim Pierce played the mandolin as well as writing and playing the slide- guitar solo. What an incredible song.

This is a story as old as time. The angels (sons of God) have been "falling" for human women for ages. They (fallen angels) are the source of all evil on earth. This movie portrays them as kind and benevolent, but they and their offspring (nephilim aka "giants") are cursed by God. When their hybrid offspring die, they become (unclean spirits) demons.

Watching this makes me realise how cool Nicholas Cage was and how average Meg Ryan was. I was 22 when this came out and saw it at the cinema, haven’t seen it since.

The ending would have been cool if she showed up as an angel after he made himself human.

Them movies was telling the truth about fallen angels coming down sleeping with woman . But hollyweird left of key information like hybrid offspring, the disobedience to God law far as humans & Angels involvement with each other . The secret information only the heavens knew but now taught to mankind due to the fallen angels. Which sent mankind on the road of great destruction which in return God had to send a flood to cleanse the earth of all its unrighteousness these fallen angels taught there wives , and there children. There was nothing romantic or loving about these angels coming down to earth tricking mankind into worshipping them as god , and teaching them all sorts of evil that had mankind get destroyed through a flood . Hollyweird is a sick place and make movies to romanticize what is really the truth . But won’t never tell u the whole truth .
