Tbh Nanchaku Sucks !!!

🤔🤔the nunchaku require to be swinged in order to gain momentum and do a strike that might create a contusion while the sword can pierce with a frontal hand movement (quicker than a lateral strike done with a swing motion ), also if the sword is stopped you can slide it down while retreating from the stopped strike using the blade length to cut or injure an additional area of the target while with the nunchaku if they are stopped the stick can’t do any more damage and the only thing that it could do is be pressed against a pressure point in any given area or use its chain to entangle the target or its weapon (which only will immobilize it instead of injuring it), hence the sword being more effective and lethal than the nunchaku. Even though the nunchaku is an excellent portable staff with many less lethal applications and some lethal ones requiring more momentum than the sword. Excellent demonstration though from both practitioners 😎👍

It seems a bit unrealistic. The sword looked like it won more times than it didn't.
He might fare better with a single Nunchuck. Good show all the same.

It should be noted almost every hit with the sword was your head split open and almost every hit with a nunchuck was ow ow ow ow fuck ow

The cross-weapon fights are just too fun, this should be an olympic discipline!

one must understand, nunchucks were designed to combat unarmed opponents, or those with a short reach, they are not a killing weapon, but can do so. so if your opponent has a sword, you need to out smart them, or out master them. and know that they can kill you in one hit, you can only injure them in one hit.

I think the effectiveness of chucks goes down when using doubles, having a free hand to redirect and/or block is invaluable and you can always follow that up with a quick strike

Remember, in real life situations the warriors would be less aggressive and more defensive because they could die. In friendly obviously you cant die, so you can be more aggressive.

A perfect demonstration of why the nunchaku were never used this way....we do know that they were historically used to great effect against a sword welding opponent...therefore the methodology is something much different from this video. Using the nunchaku I will take away your sword and kill you with it but by that time you will have sustained several debilitating and serious injuries

Might as well compare ninchaku to a machete. No one ever uses 2H swords in a real fight.

The sword user is very inexperienced. He seems to think nunchucks can actually do damage. Any real swordsman would know nunchucks are not a threat and would not be retreating from them. No nunchuck can deflect a sword, so get over the Bruce Lee fanboy rubbish and stop giving nunchucks undue respect. The worst the swordsman would get in this fight might be cracked ribs. The nunchuck user is the superior fighter in terms of movement but would be dead ten times over.

Nunckhaku man showed skill and mobility. Unlike other videos where the practitioners move like frankenstein. The haters stay away from this video.

The think with nunchucks is that put in a normal individual's hands it's likely not going to be very effective. Someone like this though could do some serious damage though

I'm not sure you're supposed to use two at a time... You can't really block anything if you'd need to that way.

The only way possible nunchaku beats Katana is on the offense by swarming the samurai. If the samurai is on the offensive, there's little to no chance for the Nunchaku Ka
