My one issue with Wyll’s ending is that he doesn’t kill or mind control Mizora as payback for all she’s taken from him
ОтветитьLmao, a boring fuck up until the end
ОтветитьFeel like this version of Wyll would take Mizora as his waifu
ОтветитьI think that Larian should add making Mizora into Wyll’s queen a choice.
ОтветитьBlade Of The Absolute
ОтветитьWow they really hate that tan lady with the ponytail lol. She's at the forefront of every one of these evil ending cutscenes and always dies in a horrific way
ОтветитьIt’s a shame that he has the lowest amount of content out of the main companions and I wonder why..🫤
ОтветитьShould have totally had him do a Raphael ending where mizora is the slave and he going to rule over hell
ОтветитьWish there had been a more devilish ending. Wyll drawing on the power of Hell, transforming into a full devil, transforming the citizens of Baldurs Gate, creating some devilflayers, calling in Mizora and have her bow to him and then he is on his way to the Nine Hells with his new powerful army to depose one of the Archdevils. And have his romanced companion rule at his side as his spouse, or if he had no romance, let him have the option of making Mizora his wife.
Ответить"let the 'why' be for lessor men", why wyll? why?
ОтветитьAnd here i thought Wyll couldnt hurt a single fly, but a great ending
ОтветитьMaybe it does but Wyll’s evil ending should depend on whether or not he broke the pact. If he’s loyal to Mizora he should basically conclude that she was right all along. Helping people is basically pointless, unending and most people just take you for granted. Mizora would release him from his current pact in favour of a new one, that his powers as well as the crown of Karsus would be used to allow the pair of them to rule Avernus and beyond in place of Zariel. Basically what Raphael was planning to do.
Alternatively going against Mizora results in him capturing her (we know the Absolute is capable of this) and using her to his own ends against her will. He would rule similar to this ending, concluding that without a forceful hand people would constantly need saving, without firm control and an iron fist people would always get away with evil. Kind of like the old thing of good intentions going bad.
Fuck, this might be my favorite one of these new evil endings. I love this archetype of the selfless hero who just gets tired of feeling like his good deeds don't amount to nothing and decides that results matter more than methods.
Ответитьdoes the ending change based on if he broke his pact with mizora? cos if not. thats lame as shit
ОтветитьWill say I genuinely don’t get his personal ending.
Like… the dialogue sounds like it’s a more “big brother” version of the normal Conquest choice… but then he goes and turns everyone into mindflayers. At first I thought it was going the route of him giving a non-forceful “Kneel” and those who disobeyed would be turned, but then it’s everyone being turned.
Is “But first… The Blade” supposed to mean he judged the whole of Baldur’s Gate as unworthy or guilty in some way? If that’s the case they really should have thrown in a line mentioning something like because they bent to Gortash and other unworthy leaders, they are all condemned in his eye,
Idk, this feels very weak compared to what everyone else got.
Also WHY is Mizora allowed to stand there freely? I get you can romance her even as Wyll so the cinematic can’t do a 180 and have him vaporize her, but surely you can show some psionic domination effect. If you’re gonna have Wyll, who as a Companion is the most Lawful Good boi there is, go full evil let him take SOME kind of vengeance/control over Mizora.
GO FOR IT, Wyll :D:D
ОтветитьI personally find this ending kinda... meh? Nothing about it screams Wyll. I can't imagine this is something an evil Wyll would do. It's not clear what his motivations here even are. To rule the sword coast without being the shadow of his father? I guess he accomplished that? He sorta just... tortured some dudes while sitting in a throne. Mizora is somehow free of his everything. What I got from Wyll's story is he wasn't to be free, he wants to be his own person, he wants to be in control of his life and dictate how he is thought of by others. I feel like if he turned evil, he would be more focused on the one holding his leash rather than his father. He no longer needs her power to be powerful. He should turn her into his bitch instead and then fuck up the Sword Coast and his father for rejecting him when he sacraficed everything for everyone. Idk, but Wyll's evil ending just... don't feel like Wyll.
ОтветитьEvil Wyll is an absolute nightmare. Despite his sudden spurt of megalomania, of all other origin characters, he is by far the most rational. No self-aggrandasing, vengeful brutality or other forms of pettiness. Order above all else for the sake of it.
Wyll brings the hammer on your face with efficiency unseen among his peers. Why slaughter when you can ceratomorph them? Why waste when you can gather? He'll have greater army in no time - and then, good luck and good night, Faerun and beyond.
I wanted to see Mizore in a dog leash for his ending.
ОтветитьWyll evil ending? What does he jaywalk or something
ОтветитьUgh why is Mizora there? Can we ever just get him as the star if his own story without her there 😒
ОтветитьGortash would be proud of you Wyll. Gortash would be proud.
ОтветитьIt would be even more interesting if Mizora released him from his pact after this ending. The way I perceived it, her original intention behind her offer to Wyll was to "help" him move away from this "selfless folk hero" posturing and, instead, embrace his true potential as a ruthless ruler (potential, in the sense devils view it, at least).
Ответить"There will be peace... But first, the blade" >_>
ОтветитьIt's hard to see wyll "evil" giving how much of a good guy he is in the entire game
Ответитьwhat if duke ravenguard is dead? or if he broke the pact? or if he wasnt the blade anymore but the duke?
Ответить“Let the ‘why’ be for lesser men” oh so he’s just Wll now?
ОтветитьWyll's ending is the only ending in which the root of his turmoil isn't mentioned in any capacity....why? Mizora has no words of dialogue. She shows up if you are still contracted to her, but she disappears in literally under 10 seconds, as if she was never in the scene. That's gotta be a bug, right? And if you are not bound to her anymore, she doesn't show up at all, when there is arguably MORE reason to go after her since he would suffer no repercussions for it. One of Wyll's goals as "Blade of Avernus" was to hunt her down....why doesn't this ending give you the option to take that angle???
Everyone else flat out rebels against their abusers, violently lashes out, or seeks to be better than they ever were, but Wyll still has no choice in the matter. Doesn't even consider it. Wyll just succumbs everyone to ceremorphosis and has a mindflayer army because reasons , I guess? No word of sending them unto Zariel's army or anything. Just a vaguely defined goal, if you can even call it that. "The Blade." "The Blade".....what? What is his purpose here? Everyone else dominates the world as well, but there is purpose to it in accordance with the source of their turmoil, as I have said before.
Maybe I'm just daft, but I don't see how this ending can be considered an evil resolution to Wyll's character arc when the source of his struggle isn't even acknowledged.
в принципе все герои во всех финалах делают одно и тоже по специфике конечно. по мне это халтура. и странно что они все злые с чего бы.
ОтветитьWyll's Nightmares this is the stuff Wyll Dreams about and wakes up in a cold sweet
ОтветитьNo mizora in this?
ОтветитьAh yes, the Unbreakable Wyll of the Netherbrain
ОтветитьI wonder how this cutscene plays out if Wyll rejects binding his soul to Mizora for his father’s sake. He should, by rights, be free of her.
ОтветитьI actually really like this. Roleplaying Wyll as a fallen hero rather than the good guy he's supposed to be.
ОтветитьDisappointing because I feel like his pact should be pretty involved. Mizora took so much from him, even possibly killing his father. Just feels like an oversight
ОтветитьI don't really like that some of the other characters get who dialogue in their endings but Wyll gets the generic evil ending with some light Wyll flavored seasoning
ОтветитьBeatty Junction
ОтветитьD'Amore Gateway
ОтветитьSpinka Vista
ОтветитьOn a cinematic level, its perhaps the most bland of the 7, but utilizes deeper meanings and that famous adage.
"You either die a hero, or live long enough to be the villain."
All those mind flayers are gonna go hungry if there are no brains for them to consume.
ОтветитьOooh WYLL!!! I didn't know you had it in you!! Have to admit though, this is VERY fitting for Wyll. I could see this happening, and it actually makes me want to play his Origin Story for an evil run.
ОтветитьI know not, whtich end I think is yuckier.
