The Westall UFO Incident (1966)

On April 6, 1966, in Clayton, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, a UFO sighting occurred that has become one of the most notorious incidents in UFO history. At around 11 am on that sunny morning, a strange aircraft appeared in the sky. It was a massive, metallic, disc-shaped craft that hovered above the pine trees about a quarter of a mile behind Westall High School, where the students were engaged in outdoor fitness activities. The craft was estimated to be about the size of two large cars and was unlike anything anyone had ever seen before.
