A lot of famous actors (and of course musicians) are on welfare, believe it of not. I saw Phyllis Yvonne Stickney in a welfare office seeking food stamps, etc. a few years ago; these celebrities be in the welfare office wearing sunglasses and hats trying to hide from embarrassment, but they have to uncover when talking to the case workers. A few years ago, Geoffrey Owens, from the Cosby show was videoed working at Whole Foods because he said his gigs and residuals from the Cosby show had dried up. Carl Anthony Payne from Martin was videoed working at a used car dealership because gigs were low and residuals dried up, he said he's not above working to support his family. I respect those guys, but I'm glad I don't want to be famous because it's all fake, the majority of these celebrities are not as rich as Celebrity Net Worth claims. It's embarrassing to be famous and broke, what's the point of doing music and acting if you're not going to be paid the value of your status? Some of these broke actors even go to college for acting, so when work gets low IF they even get hired to act, they have to work as waiters or do jobs that teenagers should be doing smh CRAZY!!!! Nobody should want to be an actor or musician thinking it's how they're going to become rich or even make money to survive because most likely you WON'T, you'll become famous before you ever get rich in most cases.

This also happens when you have a over=saturation of everyone trying to be an Entertainer or Influencer. Also there is a demand for excess content and when there is so much content and too many contributors, then it lowers you ability to gain back big dollars. Look at music sales? We went from being forced to buy CD's, Cassette Tapes, Record Albums, and 8-Tracks from the seventies. I can remember paying $17.99 for the first Boyz II Men CD from the music store in the mall. Boyz II Men sold 10 million copies worldwide, can you imagine the amount of revenue they were bringing in? $179,900,000 Also the year prior to that in 1993, I purchased The Dog Pound "Doggy Style" CD, with Snoop, Dr Dre, and the crew. That CD cost me $14.99 on sale. "Doggy Style" sold at least 10 million worldwide too. The company made $149,900,000. The market wasn't over saturated and they made videos that would help to build up the drive of the public's consumption.

Hollywood's job is to make a handful of people famous and look rich to keep other people, especially young people desiring to become celebrities because without that desire their wouldn't be a Hollywood. If "celebrities", the faces of Hollywood, really dressed and drove their actual liquid and net worth, 1% would look luxurious, while the other 99% would look like regular people in poverty who work 9-5 everyday, they wouldn't inspire others to want to become actors and musicians. Smoke and Mirrors are real.

You could get paid as producer. Just have to demand the money if you werent getting paid you stop and the the record label will find the producers and pay them or they will pay you. They just bluffed you into doing it for free.

The music industry went down hill years ago. Almost all artists are solo. Not many group
or bands. Nobody is promoting dance music. American Bandstand and Soul Train are largely missed. This also affected the music industry success. I hear people are basically standing around in the black clubs.

What’s the confusion here? You have to work to earn a living.
