How to Create Bootable Windows 11 Installer USB on Mac

For some fellow M1, M2 users!

1. From UTM VM option, set cores to 8.
2. From UTM VM option, set force multithread to true. This may result a bit of wanky result, but it will be far faster than just doing raw with 2 cpu like some comments suggested.
3. You will see blue screen if you use SPICE. The driver is not signed, so you need to press F8, then select the option to disable driver signature. Then will boot... :)

Just format with exFAT and just put them in without any issue, then newer motherboard can read them normally without any special bios change.

You should also mention if your going to do this with a usb type c port you will need a case and a motherboard that has type c

I’m stuck at the part after creating the UTM when I go to play it and press and key to continue, the UTM logo pops up again like it did in the video, but instead of booting to the windows start up screen I get a screen that says “UEFI Interactive Shell v2.2” and then at the bottom it says “press ESP in 1 seconds to skip startup.nsh or any other key to continue” and no matter if I press a key or esp, nothing happens. Anyone know what’s going on here? 2019 Mac Air 8gb ram

If you have issues I recommend downloading Parallels as a virtual machine, I found it to work well for this purpose.

@BarTech TV I tried this process and when I launch the windows in the emulator it says this pc doesn’t have the requirements to run the program. Any idea how to fix this?
