Beautifull guitar ,what guitar is it ?
ОтветитьGreat taste bro
ОтветитьI'd enjoy watching you playing "Blackwater " by the dobbie brothers
Question
I'm dying from liver cancer and I'm trying to learn as many instruments as possible before I check out...
I'm teaching myself kinda a offbeat style leaning towards classic rock, blues, slide, Spanish
Do you have any tuning suggestions so far I've been playing standard and double d
The Goo Goo Dolls song Kicks in my PTSD of strings popping trying to tune it ,especially trying to bring the B string and A up to a D lol 😬💥😩
ОтветитьI have been learning , dear God by avenged sevenfold, and before that I learn how to play so far away the acoustic breakdown is really easy but it hits me hard when I play it , it is a beautiful piece
ОтветитьLove what you say about acoustic guitar being a communal instrument. There are songs which I regularly include in my sets which I’m not really a fan of in my own life, but love performing for appreciate crowds. And I think it’s so important to remember this - people turn to acoustic gigs because of that sense of community and belonging that it creates. Great video dude.
ОтветитьThis is a very good list! Most of these songs are on my to learn list, a couple I know already…thanks! PS.. you are a great guitarist!
ОтветитьIs it only me or this guitar has a lot of fret buzz?
ОтветитьCreating ones. own riffs and music is more fulfilling. Listening to other artists is awesome however make your own. legacy your own foot print in music
ОтветитьFor those of us old enough to remember...”Goats Head Soup” (including Angie) when new in 73… it was a very disappointing Stones LP & the whole album stank!!!!!!!! The whole album was/is still lousy!!!!!!!!! It did NOT get even played on the radio much either.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьJust came across this...damn, great list. I waiver between knowing and unknowing Blackbird,, and this reminds me to KNOW IT, not think I do.
ОтветитьToo much yappin'.
ОтветитьCouldn't agree more on the Clapton unplugged album. I'd agree with the Black Crowes if I weren't still baffled by open tunings. Also, your resonator sounds dope as hell. Playing Blackbird, for me, never gets old. Just good fun.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video, I'm in Augusta, GA. I'm very lucky to have a band room where I work. We are currently expanding this area of the shop for the future. Go Dawgs!!!
ОтветитьDust in the wind was oneof the first ones i learned on acoustic.
ОтветитьGreat video, I agree with all your songs
ОтветитьMy list includes all these songs. Great list.
Ответить👍🏻 dude
ОтветитьForgot crazy on you
Ответитьagree great song
ОтветитьKeith Richards plays a lot of open G.
ОтветитьYour Dust in the wind intro was wrong as soon as you changed from C to Am.
ОтветитьDust in the Wind was written in his bedroom. He was playing a finger exercise on his guitar and his Mom walked by. She told him. You should write a song with that. And so he did.
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьSo you are 59 years old...like myself? "Listening to this in High School" ...like me? 🤣. Actually, if I RECALL...Cuz I'm getting old and "Bannana Pancakes" wasnt around then to compete with Kiss, and Queen, and Stairway...Dust ITW came out when I was in 7th grade? So...damn...you're like 62!! Lmao
ОтветитьSo....These arent "beginner" level dude...These are higher level Intermediate, and you KNOW this...!!!
ОтветитьDust in the wind turned into static in the headphones... and you were right to pull em off. Though the potential is low for a strike traveling thru your wires to your headphones... it's still a very real threat !
ОтветитьLol, I know all of those. Good Job but way too much time talking.
ОтветитьGood video, and I enjoyed it. You'd kick my ass in any guitar playing contest, hands down. NOT to be a douche, but recheck the notes played on Dust in the Wind on the chord progression on the B string. When I first attempted to play it when I was learning to play back in 1985 I played it the same way you did on the video, but something didn't sound right to me. After a careful listen and comparison to what Kansas plays vs what I (and you) played, I found what I was doing wrong on the B string. Thanks again! Cheers!
ОтветитьEagles .?
ОтветитьOh Well, by Fleetwood Mac.
ОтветитьNo James Taylor? Gasp
Good list though! Ty
No Mississippi John Hurt?
ОтветитьNot a single John Mayer song? I almost always end up playing Why Georgia if I enter a guitar store.
ОтветитьIs there anybody cooler than Jack Johnson?
ОтветитьAnyone know what kind of guitar that is when the video starts?
ОтветитьThat’s Greatest Video! Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьB n Good at those so gs takes time good job thanks , I love those tunes ✌
ОтветитьHeart? plenty of great acoustics.....and Pink Floyd has quite a few....also the Rumours album has so many great songs
ОтветитьI love the resident evil franchise. With that said I refuse to play the last two recent games. I played 7 when it came out and had reoccurring nightmares until I sold it.
ОтветитьWhere is Yes-Roundabout?
ОтветитьI love Clapton’s Unplugged album too! Old Love is the ultimate jam, it’s chord progression never gets “ old “. The normal blues version is great too when it’s time to crank up the amp. Robert Cray co-wrote the song 🔥
ОтветитьFirst song I ever learned was
Pink Floyd - is there anybody out there?
I would call it a MUST learn 🥰
You got me good with that first one.. I was ready to skip.. than LAUGHED 😂
ОтветитьExcellent, but you missed, Blind Faith can't find my way home
ОтветитьMy favorite is Neil Young Old man live. I love the combination of off time finger playing and chord changes. Honestly I could have chosen many Neil young songs but this one is next level.
ОтветитьBlackbird didn’t sound quite right. Sorry
ОтветитьIris is the only song on the list that I knew 😅
ОтветитьEvery song from Days of the New (yellow) is an acoustic masterpiece
Ответить
