The Braeriach Traverse is a challenging hike, but one I sincerely recommend any avid hiker should give a go in the Cairngorms!

It includes a traverse of the Chalamain Gap: a serious boulder field, which opens up into the Lairig Ghru. The Lairig Ghru is a stunning mountain pass that reaches an elevation of more than 800m! From there, the day only gets bigger and better as you take on 4 munros, including Britain’s 3rd, 4th and 5th highest mountains.
