I always thought Alex Kingston had great chemistry with Eriq La Salle onscreen. I thought their characters made a great couple. From what I read, though, La Salle wanted a black love interest. So TPTB brought in a black actress for him--don't remember her name--but I found that subsequent pairing to be very boring.

She was one of my favorites! She has this solo chemistry and chemistry with everyone on the show. Plus she’s freaking gorgeous!

Is so funny nobody noticed the girl asking something dr. Benton is an actress played role of Morris girlfrend in season 15, police woman. Claudia Diaz played by Justina Machado to be correct.
