My son is 60kg and his little bit skinny does it okay for him to do fasting?
ОтветитьHi thanks for sharing this video. I have been doing intermitent fasting 1x or 2x a week; usually Mondays and Thursdays. I fast from 3pm to 8am. Question is it safe to do physical exercise before 8am on the day when I stop the fast? Usually I go for 1 hr or 2hr cycling or sometimes walking; and on the mornings where I have been fasting for about 16hrs, I feel quite weak; like slower on the bike; kind of less strong than usual if I am lifting; or less focused; even concentration seems less. So yeah noticing that my performace is lower at the end of the fast brought me to ask the question; is it normal to feel less strong?
Is it safe to do physical workouts at the end of a fast?
Should I fast on slow days or days off only i.e days where I do not do physical work or work that require concentration i.e business meetings ?
I am 43 yo and I do not have any medical conditions. Thanks
Intermittent fasting is so hard, i hope i can stick with it..
Ответитьlol wait this is an actual method? I just started doing this cause I thought I could live without breakfast and would cut a ton of calories lost 26lbs in 2 weeks.
ОтветитьWeight has never been an issue for me, its the mental benefits that i get . My body is adjusted to eating one meal a day... No sugar, low carbs. Used to struggle when i had morning workouts or a long morning run but i now do that in the evening.
ОтветитьAre kidding this is the intermittent fasting?! Then I am on it my whole life 😂
ОтветитьIntermittent fasting works so well for me. I lost 8lbs in 3 weeks.
ОтветитьI like his approach and his understanding of where most people fail when trying to lose weight: It's a way of life, not just a short period sacrifice.
Doesn't matter how much you eat if,once you achieve your goal, "you set yourself free" and go back to eating like you used to.
If you wanna be X weight you have to eat accordingly, so long as you do, you will be that weight.
man makes sense
ОтветитьI started doing the intermediate fasting by eating breakfast at 1pm then dinner around 8pm it works the best for me. Then I do it all over again the next day.
ОтветитьIv been unknowing doing this all my life.
ОтветитьWhile doing IF, does everyday have to have the same schedule? like say 7:am breakfast and 7:pm dinner, can you mix it into different times like 6:am and 6:30pm? and just like different times each day?
ОтветитьSo, you’re saying that the 16:8 method is not that effective, yet, you persuade and encourage people halfway through or towards the end of the video, to extend that window to 16 hours. It seems to me, that not only are you contradicting yourself, but that you’ve just taken the ideas of experts, and used it to your own advantage! Sad.
Ответить2.4M views. 1.5K comments. All for a video of a weight loss guru to tell you to eat less.
ОтветитьWhat about protein deficiency
ОтветитьI'm doing intermittent fasting since a few years now, usually I have my last meal around 4pm. I have a question now: taking a glycine supplement before going to bed can be considered "breaking" the fast, in terms of metabolic break?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this great information .......lots of love from Planet Ayurveda
ОтветитьBulletproof coffee eventually makes it realistic and energizing to not eat till 2-3pm and seeing real results
ОтветитьI normally stick to the 16/8 fast. Schedule... skipping breakfast... i workout fasted also (morning)..
ОтветитьSo i wake up 5:am start work at 6:am and finish work at 1:30pm what time should i eat
ОтветитьNot really, this is cra*y advise, best fasting is 23:1
ОтветитьBest Fasting is that which Muhammad SAW tells us 1400 hundreds years before from sunrise 🌅 to sunset 🌇
ОтветитьI have cll/sll ..chronic leukemia lymphoma and three years after diagnosis drs. keep checking me and all is well...could it be the 16/8 intermittent fasting I have been doing all along since diagnosis?
ОтветитьI really struggle at the moment! I had a late miscarriage (16 weeks) and after almost 2 months I still can’t lose weight which I gained during my pregnancy. I was very thin before. What should I do? Thank you
ОтветитьI eat 2 small meals a day, sausages and vegies and meatballs, half a hub of vanilla yogert and a 600ml bottle of coke with 65g of sugar in it and I'm losing weight. I lost 5kg in 4 days and it sucks because I'm hungry and find myself googling fast food to cure my cravings but never giving in to eating (for lack of a better word, shit). I just stick to my plan and drink water too, works well for me and I'm getting resaults so I'm winning.
ОтветитьI agree, I noticed 2 meals a day was helping me lose weight. Then I went to the 16/8 fasting plan and now I’m really excelling!!!!! Eeooow😂🙃💗
ОтветитьI’ve lost like 16 pounds in about 20 days I think from researching and trying different things. Working out, fasting with proteins and the right vitamins
ОтветитьDoes bread and pb count as a meal. I've already eaten breakfast and lunch, so those are my two meals already done?
ОтветитьLongterm 16/8 leads to increased risk of heart disease. 12/12 or 13/11 is healthier and easier.
Ответитьit works for me.
ОтветитьThank youuuuuu very very much
ОтветитьLove the accent
ОтветитьI fast 16-18 hours a day
I dont work out and have a 6 pack.
Best decision of my life
I have lupus and ITP and it clears my brain fog within a day.
Something is in our food
Do 1 Day 1 Meal.
I don't understand why people in comment section & even the person in the video talking about 2 meals a day.😮
We all are consuming two meals a day since birth right?? Or am I missing something here.
I do only two meals (Lunch + Dinner) as far as I know.
You all used to have more than that😮😳
Been doing Keto for a year now. In normal days I do ONE MEAL per day(24hrs). And on every week i do Liquid fasting so as to led that ONE MEAL Glucose sink.
I'm starting to do this 2 meals a day, not because I wanted to get slim but I wanted to save my money.
ОтветитьI dont eat dinner it helps you to lose weight very fast
ОтветитьIs this harmful if my stochach growling in the morning?
ОтветитьThat’s what Muslims do every year in Ramadan fasting from dawn to sunset = 16 hours and eating 2 times at 1 sunset 2 few minutes before dawn = 8 hours
ОтветитьI lost weight when I raised two kids under four, I always forgot to eat. Went from 215 to 180 in like 4 months and didnt know how. Even did some cancer screening because people were getting worried but all clear. It was because I was too busy to eat!
ОтветитьOmad for me 18-6
ОтветитьMy issue is…
I have to take medicine immediately when I wake up and it can’t be on an empty stomach. I eat breakfast at 4:00am.
Any suggestions on what I can do to be as effective as possible?
Thanks
The first week of fasting is always the hardest and I'm on the first week now for this year. I'm doing 2.5 months of fasting (18:6) every year.
ОтветитьCan I do running during fasting
ОтветитьYeah nah, the guy with the posh accent is a joker. Eat when your body tells you to? Ok I feel like 3 burgers. clearly “ some kid, trying to get ahead with a superficial gimmick and catchphrase
ОтветитьBest one for me is stop eating at 6pm maybe 7pm and start back eating at 12pm daily....
ОтветитьSo skip breakfast. Got it!
ОтветитьI’m eating one meal a day which is dinner
Ответить"It's winter and I'm cold, I'm lazy, low on convenient food, and I'm distracted by this videogame. I forgot to eat."
That explains why I lost so much weight recently, I was unintentionally fasting.
The key is to keep it switched up. 20/4, 16:8, ADF are all amazing fasting techniques that can have amazing benefits to the body, not to mention positive change to the body. Making it work for your lifestyle is also key. But fundamentally - keep sugar low and insulin low are game changers when it comes to good health.
