Hot Toys Darth Sidious Unboxing & Review

Kinda nerdy but the only issue with this is that the hilts are supposed to be different colors. Where there are brown/green-ish areas on the main one (the version that was used for the Master Replicas hilt and more recent replicas), the other one should be more black. And obviously they are usually chromed but they were matte in the show so that's fine. But they did represent the difference in color in the show

Too bad we don't get swappable eyes. That head sculpt with sith eyes would look incredible.

Fantastic figure! Agree with you on all points, Justin - and thanks for the review. Still waiting on mine, but just curious: Will the old Emperor Palpatine head fit on the Sidious body? I’d assume yes? That way, some people who want a Revenge of the Sith look can just swap out the heads if they wanted to say, create a Yoda vs. Sidious diorama ( without forking over more cash for the ROTS version, I mean).

That head is so good. The looking up under the hood with head down and his fingers doing the Simpsons Burns Pose would be perfect

Does the headsculpt exchangeable with the previous palpatine version? Or 3rd party palpatine headsculpt maybe?

I have the Return of the Jedi version and have the Revenge of the Sith version pre-ordered. This does look good but not sure if I really need it.

I would love to get this figure for Christmas and the head sculpt looks cool and evil and here's something from Sidious,Do it.

Love Clone Wars but never interested in HT offerings. Little upset with this figure as it creates desire. Head sculpt it amazing. Head should have been included in the upcoming ROTS version as a second head.

Once you get the new Savage oppress, you can make the whole fight scene with maul and Savage

I can tell you enjoyed posing this figure. You put so many poses up at the end. The lightening integrated hands were magnificent.

I was on the fence with this guy. I had to choose between this Sidious and the Revenge of the Sith version. I’m so glad I picked this guy! Now all I need is a 2.0 Return of the Jedi version and then I’m set.
