TYVM - I was able to unlock him. I used a similar build with Poppea - but this video definitely inspired me to look into particular builds to take him down.

I got it first try with crimson shroud and the freeze/half health evolution and crosses and wand evo with Santa water evo. Dude died in 39 seconds

The easiest way to kill him, ive tried other ways but this is by far the easiest.

Tried the sitting strat about 10times either randomly died b4 30min or got to the end but eventually got killed. Did this one on my first try and got read death! Especially satisfying playing as Poe my fav old man. Thx brother

Got him first try thanks to your method! Worked super easy. Most important were obviously Crimson Shroud and Infinite Corridor, I smacked his ass in 54 seconds with books and 3 birds though (the evolution and the 2 for the arcana).

This worked for me! I just tried it today, though I used Boon Marabio instead of old garlic guy

It worked like a charm! The evolved shroud is critical to survive when Death inevitably escapes from the Time weapon, as he can one shot you

It might be possible without the shroud if you stacked Revivals, including the Arcana that gives extra revives

I unlocked him somehow but I don’t remember how.

I think editing the cfg file still worked recently and don’t remember which method did it lol

Hi, I die immediately when the reaper shows up. I revive then I freeze him then kills me again when the freeze is over. I try this 2 times

How are you able to have so many rerolls? Mine is maxed at 2.

Crimson shroud + infinite corridor is right now the best way to kill the Reaper. It is not RNG reliant, it does not need specific champions and anyone can do it.
