ABC 7's Kathy Brock announces retirement (WLS)

I've enjoyed watching Kathy on the air over the years and she's a true class act. Taking the role of the 10pm that Diann Burns had from 94-03 she's made a big impact to the team. She even told me once to work on my TV pose (which is still in progress) it's sad to see her next in the retirement line but chances are Cheryl Burton may take in on her 6pm spot despite she's been alongside Kathy as a backup anchor for the last 15 years and having the 5 and 7pm Newscasts as well. I wish Kathy the best on retirement.

I heard Kathy Brock will be retired after 28 years!

My congrats on to Kathy Brock on her retirement!! I wish her the best in her future. I let her bug Alan Krashesky about him being surrounded by 35 cute and adorable little puppies, 28 years ago when she first working on at Channel 7 she does a great job doing the news! I am very proud of you and Alan Krashesky Kathy. Thanks again for the beautiful memories!! Channel 7 has lost a great lady to retirement. Best wishes in your future Kathy Brock!!!
