I've been working for my company for well over 3 years (first year as an Intern and main 2 1/2 in a full time role). I've done a great deal with Excel but would like to learn more as I learned many skills including detail-oriented, multitasking (some SQL learning) and some technical terms / commands I learned - and yes, it is sort-of IT I am currently working in.
