Another point is that most of the old generation optiplex pc's that have a x16 slot, that can accommodate a 2 slot gpu, will be bottlenecked by anything more powerful than RTX A2000 (with a i7-3/4700k).

For a mini itx build I'm gonna slap that little sucker in there, old optilexs are a waste of money unless you get em dirt dirt cheap just don't really see it being viable for gaming

Pretty sure you can just dremel or tin snip to make more space in thise optiplex? At least thats what i did in my lenovo sff looks completely the same just cant use the hard drive bay which honeslty who uses hard drives anyway😂 as for the power connection you can use a sata to 8 pin its not recommended obviously but i have used one in my emulation pc for several months with 0 problems

Why would you ever use imperial measurements when talking about computers. I’m familiar with both but always found it annoying when someone uses Fahrenheit instead of Celsius

Yeah I ran into this issue when I bought it last year in October it's a great card especially if you had a 1080 TI and you wanted a small version of it but this would only be recommended to those who tinker with their cases to make it fit and who are prepared to spend a bit more money for the power supply
