so is it better to get your real estate sales license first or broker license?
ОтветитьGreat info.Just joined a Team and it’s everything you said. Shadowing a top agent is a brilliant idea. Now I know thanks!
ОтветитьConsidering real estate, doing a lot of research first... I keep reading that You have to have a broker sponsor your license, or hold your license in order to practice. But how does that work if I want to go out on my own? What does that look like? Is that the same thing as being on a team?
ОтветитьQuestions
1. Once I become a real state agent in Florida, I have to work with a broker. Do I work as an employee or as a contractor?
2. Do I need to have my own corporation to work as a new agent ?
3. What does join a team means on these terms? Do I have a choice to join a team or go solo as a new agent in Florida?
I am studying this industry to change career and become a real estate agent. I love your mindset and your approach to business.
Great advice! Thanks.
ОтветитьI'm in a team and I regret it! I learned a lot, but you hit the nail on the head, team works initially when you are new-but once you learn the basics, it's not worth the lower splits.
ОтветитьI would join a team so i can learn more stuff. But i want to go solo
ОтветитьHow Can I contact you ?
ОтветитьHow do I find buyers and sellers if I go solo? Don’t I need to join a brokerage anyway? Meaning, I won’t be solo? Thanks:)
ОтветитьHi
Ответитьhad a team meeting and it didnt go that well tbh joining a team is basically a 9-5...we all left our 9-5s so we can be our own bosses right? im only 2 months in but i can tell you getting a mentor thats gonna send u leads and have u do the little things is what works best...teams take half ur commission..not much upside to me
ОтветитьCan u do both
ОтветитьGreat jewels and I’m feeling like this can apply in many areas of business aside from real estate. I can all of the risk in my endeavor which I fully accept but I feel I may be lacking greatly when it comes to mentors. If someone has noone and is looking for that guidance, how do they know where to look that will BEST fit their needs??
ОтветитьAs a new agent don't you have to join a team? You have to work under a broker for 3 years before you can become a broker. I am confused.
ОтветитьI'm so lost and confused what to do
ОтветитьI admit, I did not watch the entire video. As soon as you said more control and more money, I was sold. Hahahaha
Ответитьif you start on a team, can you go on your own later or how does that work.
ОтветитьIf you start off solo as a new agent, does the broker still provide training/mentoring? I have run my own business in the past so I am ok with the risk but since it is a new field, not developing any bad habits and having some support is a concern.
ОтветитьHey Kevin . If I start as a individual agent can I later decide to join a team ? Thanks
ОтветитьI have Real Estate Lisence for 6 years with Brokerage spitting 40/60 % and I didn't know that I can work independently as you say Solo. What I need to do to get out of the Brokerage and work as Independent Agent.
I will Uprisiate you help and advice.
Thank you.
What I
I want to be a part of a team simply because I have a full time job and real estate would be my side income. Say like a 4 man team where we all take 2 days minimum of the week.
ОтветитьThanks for the video and your input.
ОтветитьOops - wish I would have watched this 3 years ago. I learned the hard way that this is true. I’m on my own now and more profitable than I had imagined.
ОтветитьOther agents keep telling me this and that team doesn't accept new agents and also companies like Re/MAX don't accept new agents either.
ОтветитьI loved this take, seemed very fair. I love the idea of partnering to bring even greater service to customers (and profits) but I don’t want to feel like a complete employee. What is it you love about teams then from a team member standpoint (not the owner/leader)?
ОтветитьOK, I have a dumb question -- what is a "mega" team? Size or mega numbers of sales? I am studying for my license and do outbound cold calls for a top producing team. Never heard that term before. Really appreciate your videos, Kevin. You are clear and very concise. And honest!!
ОтветитьHow can I find a good mentor/coach? I know of a lot who claims to be very good at what they do but as a new agent pretty much anything sounds good. How can I separate the real from the fake coaches ?
ОтветитьHi Kevin,
I have been watching your videos ...great Mentor, I joined as a independent contractor as this is the only option here.
I have a question as a new agent it seems difficult to get the expired listing numbers , my broker says first I have to get them from MLS and find their numbers on either internet or yellow pages....could you please suggest where I can get these numbers from?
solo bolo baby
ОтветитьJust now watching this video. I'm going into real estate, and I've been trying to decide if going on my own is the best route. Now I have my answer, thank you for your encouraging words!! Now subscribing!!
ОтветитьDo you have to have a broker license to go solo
ОтветитьCan't you join a team in the beginning, learn the ropes, then leave and start your own team?
ОтветитьGreat video as usual Kevin!
ОтветитьYou are helping many. Thank you!
