Most Germans know about this, and 80% want and vote for it. We are broke.
I come from Germany, but I am afraid of Germany and its citizens.

So essentialy they need to censor everything because someone could react violently. Bring in the social credit system.

The German politician Agnes Strack Zimmermann has made it her business model to report people who insult her. She has 5 lawyers employed at the same time and over 100 reports are pending. This way she generates additional income alongside her political activities. Other German politicians do this too, on a smaller scale.

I have been living in Germany for 20 years. Now taking precautions to leave this madhouse again.

I think I've seen this movie before. I last saw it 92 years ago.

I have lived in the U.S. and Berlin, Germany. Anyone who has spent time in both places knows that things are far better in Germany, people are far happier, and more tolerant, than people in the US, without question (and even despite worries about the AFD). We in the US who would think that anything goes social media is a good thing should spend sometime in places like Germany. You won't want to come back.

And these are the same people that call us a Threat to democracy pure projection.

I am German and I am very, very happy that we have those laws in place. I doubt it seeing the comments here, but maybe we can still avoid what happened to the US recently...

As a German, i wholeheartedly disgaree with these stupid censorship laws.
