Most Germans know about this, and 80% want and vote for it. We are broke.
I come from Germany, but I am afraid of Germany and its citizens.
It’s horrible that Germany is a dictatorship again. 😢
ОтветитьSo essentialy they need to censor everything because someone could react violently. Bring in the social credit system.
ОтветитьSo German’s didn’t learn from the 1930s
ОтветитьAfD is NOT far right!
ОтветитьWho sets the boundaries?
If someone says a party is extremist, couldn’t that be taken as hateful and censor anyone who agrees with that position?
These 3 prosecutors are the problem not the solution
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьThe German politician Agnes Strack Zimmermann has made it her business model to report people who insult her. She has 5 lawyers employed at the same time and over 100 reports are pending. This way she generates additional income alongside her political activities. Other German politicians do this too, on a smaller scale.
ОтветитьI have been living in Germany for 20 years. Now taking precautions to leave this madhouse again.
ОтветитьGermany 1984
ОтветитьThis Germany of today reminds me more of the GDR than of West Germany. The Stasi is back again.
ОтветитьGerman leave Germany and come into Switzerland.... better jobs, more paid, perfect streets, bridges, trains, direct democracy and a lot of more..... i forget: deeper taxes to pay 😂
ОтветитьAmerica must free Germany from the Nazis again, the left and the Green Party are the new Nazis
ОтветитьThis is genuinely horrifying. These idiots want to arrest people for being mean on the internet, textbook fascism.
ОтветитьI grew up in Germany. This is just CRAZY!!
ОтветитьThe Na zi rebrand is wild
ОтветитьAnother day, another demonstration of why Europe is leading the free world.
Ответить900 billion to get the war really started
ОтветитьFascism rises again in Germany
ОтветитьWhat a bunch of liars.
ОтветитьSo when leftists call, me fascist, racist, bigot etc, not only they are lying but they are insulting me. Is the police going to arrest them?
ОтветитьI am glad that people here are as disgusted by this as I am. Alas, germany is not far from russia in terms of the value of freedom of speech.
ОтветитьStupid people thinking hate speech laws are ok? it blows my mind that these people didn't learn anything from the past???
ОтветитьThis story is an attempt by 60 Minutes to groom the American public for the same 💯🫨
ОтветитьXDDDDD
ОтветитьI thought the Far right AFD were the Nazis!!!😅😅😅😅😅

There is no more Germany, it's just an occupied economic zone with no identity.
Ответитьim german and i love this law :)
ОтветитьI think I've seen this movie before. I last saw it 92 years ago.
ОтветитьI am German. Imagine the worst someone could wish upon someone else. That is what I wish upon these 3 tyrants. Vllt wisst ihr was mit paar Stasimännern passiert ist, Geschichte wiederholt sich oft.
Ответить"...even if it's "hate-filled or toxic" (in HER opinion, of course), is protected by the First Amendment. But Germany is trying to bring some civility to the World Wide Web by policing it in a way that most Americans could never imagine." - George Orwell, 1984
ОтветитьI have lived in the U.S. and Berlin, Germany. Anyone who has spent time in both places knows that things are far better in Germany, people are far happier, and more tolerant, than people in the US, without question (and even despite worries about the AFD). We in the US who would think that anything goes social media is a good thing should spend sometime in places like Germany. You won't want to come back.
ОтветитьYes. Half of the Internet Users and anyone else is afraid to express their opinion but not because of the so called Hate Speech but because of the policing of non left views.
ОтветитьYou think they goosestep around their apartments when no one's looking?
ОтветитьAnd here I was almost convinced that Vance was lying about our lack of free speech. 😂
ОтветитьThey should have had someone that said we should not leave NATO . THe whole thing is Germany is back to fascism.
ОтветитьThere was a guy about 80 years ago who predicted this would happen in the future if they lost the war. He was german, too, funnily enough.
Ответитьgrown people, elected politicians for that matter, complaining about random mean words on the internet
i've seen 5 year olds take real life insults more mature and calmly than these people who are "protecting democracy"
What if the government posts something that’s not true? Do they prosecute the government??
ОтветитьThis is crazy. This is coming for the rest of us too if we’re not careful!
ОтветитьI am German and I am very, very happy that we have those laws in place. I doubt it seeing the comments here, but maybe we can still avoid what happened to the US recently...
ОтветитьAs a German, i wholeheartedly disgaree with these stupid censorship laws.
Plus, I have to say these 3 public prosecutors look and reason in the most cringeworthy way.
