Thanks for this video. I opted for the MiracleGro Tropical Houseplant Food in the liquid pump bottle. I use 4 pumps per 1 L as it says in the instructions and just use that every time I water my plants. New follower and subscriber here! Thanks for your content.

How long after repotting or using wormcastings can I start using different fertilizers? Do you have experience with that.

In the intro you mentioned “It doesn’t matter what type of fertilizer you use, as long as your doing it”. I have a monstera plant that needs TLC since it’s winter and it’s my first time using fertilizer. Do you suggest to use a 20-20-20 fertilizer or is the Shake n Feed good enough to start with? I oven-sterilized soil that had a bad outbreak of fungus gnats, then used a pretty strong peroxide solution when the gnats reproduced in number with no plant in the soil. It seems to be under control now. I've read that you can reintroduce nutrients with slow release fertilizer pellets, but don't know which. I'm growing organic indoor herbs. Is there a way to reintroduce the good bacteria I've likely killed off? It's a lot of soil, but is this whole effort a waste of time and money? Thanks.

I got my succulents in the spring time and I never fertilized them? Is it okay to do them now? and I have a few other plants like Fittonia, snake plant, Aglaonema and Hermans Pride Archangel, I have had these them for about a month or so? Although we are in the fall season, would it be okay to fertilize them about once or twice a month? Thank you

I have tried the sticks on a plant that lived for 7yrs but I may try those other types from Miracle Grow this time around. Nothing still beats direct sunlight outside 3-5xs a full week if you can remember to sit it out facing east in the mornings or West in the afternoons. 😊 Nice video... 👍🪴😸

Do you flush your soil with water? I've heard that some people flush to remove salt, but I don't know if it needs to be done or how often. I'm still learning, so any information would be appreciated.

The amounts are confusing. There are tons of fertilizers from with numbers as low as 3-1-2 every watering, to 9-3-7 every watering
And 13-3-15 recommended every watering...so if these are (real products real directions) the recommendations than it would be assumed that overdosing the 3-1-2 isnt really overdosing. Yet theres a huge discrepancy in fert amounts between products. And if somone has chunky no soil substrate, what should they be feeding??

I love most of your content but this is too basic. And its also very difficult to find correct information on plants because google is absolutely horrible for information. It gets worse by the week.
I have a Burle marx and I have read articles that say feed it a balanced fertilizer 3 times a year, feed in the spring and summer biwkly, water when it's dry, dont let it dry out, water when the top 2 inchs are dry (and all in one article!) Several articles say it's a heavy feeders, others say it's a light feeder. Pretty much every article is regurgitating information someone got of Google from somone else who got info off Google...its virtually impossible to get accurate information.

So i already have MG sticks, use or not use? You say not cost effective lol but i already spent the money 😊

I just got Neptune’s Harvest 2-3-1, I noticed you have the 001… with the version I have, will I be okay to use that on all my plants? I have pothos, snake plants, spider plants, philodendrons, monstera, areca palm, rubber tree, alocasia, zebra plant… etc. any plant I shouldn’t use fish fertilizer on?

I used liquid fish fertilizer & chelated liquid iron. And add a bunch of worm castings when repotting

A bit on Fertilizer numbers: 10-10-10 is 10x stronger than 1-1-1 fertilizer but consider you are diluting fertilizers with 'higher' numbers. ALWAYS follow the instructions on the box closely to avoid over fertilizing your plants.
