So according to Asus' latest firmware update, improving frame rate on Genshin Impact means to make it stuttery. Classic Asus right there! Anyway, Genshin Impact on my ROG Phone 8 Pro used to be buttery smooth 61 fps all the time. Since my phone got updated, the game now stutters a lot in battle, dropping to 40ish fps. I don't know why but I think firmware updates make the phone slower, hotter, and overall a worse experience! What is going on Asus!

Loooove your perf test videos they are the best. Can you also try testing the phone out with the new Chill Case? It is apparently supposed to reduce temperature but I am a bit skeptical. I am super curious to see if there is any noticeable difference at all.

The red magic 9 is incredible, I couldn't believe when I was playing Mario Oddyseey at 70 fps and beat the game in 3 days . Even my s23 ultra didn't have that gaming performance. These types of phones for that purpose are worth it . Just w a warning the software is no where near one ui 6.1.1 and 5.1

It's not snapdragon downgraded ray tracing performance on 8 elite but rather war thunder didn't optimise for Asus Rog 9 yet. Just because the toggle is there doesn't mean it is optimised and giving poor performance. 3D mark ray tracing benchmark shows 8 elite even better than A18 pro in ray tracing and 3D mark is benchmark usually align with real world gaming performance as long as game is optimised for the chip

I only care about Winlator but it gives me an idea with the warzone gameplay how performance will be so.. would it be better to get a Top smartphone with SD 8 Gen 2?

Still rocking my ROG phone 6 512gb, sad that they have camera notch now, prefer under screen camera, i know red magic and nubia have them but softwares on ROG phone is smoother compared to other brand, also 2 years software update is still suck, at least give 4-5 years, this phones is not cheap..

Why the screen looks dark , is it because of screen dimming ? , it happens when phones overheat , mostly iphones
