My Dad was a freemason it's a very dark thing. They put curses on their children not knowing that is what they are doing. I spent many years having the curses cut off me and my family. When Dad passed my Mum burnt all his freemason things the gold ring cufflinks ect. all the jewelry was 24 ct. Gold and it went to ash. I wouldn't touch this stuff for the life of me. Cursed 💩 please be careful handling this stuff and don't take it into your home whatever you do. Stay safe 🕊️

Keep an eye out for a copy of three world wars by Albert Pike, its aasonic book that only 33rd degree Scottish rite freemasons are allowed to have, there are abridged versions that lower order masons can have but this book is a script for the last two centuries and makes for disturbing reading.

Also a lot of masonic regalia is base metal, plated or alloys of gold such as pinchbeck, it's about equality of man despite how rich you are, a bit like school uniform.

There are specialist cleaners for antique textiles, it's quite costly but they will quote you a price and you can decide from there. My friend restores and maintains stuff at the Victoria and Albert museum, she said all of the case you opened could be restored to some degree.
