Hey everyone, thanks again for checking out my video!
I hope you were able to learn something from this deep dive because I certainly did. The process of putting together this video was quite experiential compared to my normal stuff. Collectively, I spent what ended up as several weeks watching Jetix shows, playing Jetix games, sifting through old broadcasts, and reading anything I could about it. Even though this video was long, I’m sure I left out some details (some intentionally.) It would mean the world to me if you gave this a like and shared it around because I really pushed myself working on this video. I also left open community contributions, so if you’re from a country where English isn’t a common language (and JETIX was around), feel free to add subtitles. You guys are the best and for the next video, I’ll definitely upload it within a year’s time.
MonstersReview :)
i loved Jetix cuz of Team Galaxy :ooo
ОтветитьJetix is slept on these days. Glad you shined it in a bright light
ОтветитьI remember watching Jetix as a kid, and specific shows in which a lot of the younger generations have no clue about which is a darned shame!! It's also a shame that the older kids were the ones complaining about the channel and forced the process to rebrand to Disney XD. I miss Jetix. And Toonami
ОтветитьThe iron Giant END
Ответить‘97-‘02 kids are united in shared love of Jetix
ОтветитьIt really boils my piss that on the jetix years I didn’t own satellite tv. By the time I finally did, goodbye jetix and hello disney xd. 🤬🤬🤬
ОтветитьAnyone in 2025 here?
Btw I love Jetix as a child till the day got replaced lol
Made me hate Disney for life for it
American here, I hated and STILL hate Disney XD, it replaced my childhood with stupid bs live action shows, I grew up with Jetix and I vividly remember getting up everyday watching Jetix.
Ironic enough, I hated Toon Disney as well😂😂😂it rubbed me the wrong way
Ying Yang Yo was indeed a very underrated show.
ОтветитьFriday of this week it will hit 20 years since it came out
ОтветитьFuck, Jetix and 4kids was my childhood. God I miss it.
ОтветитьIt seem like it tried to age with me I remember too much of this 🤣
ОтветитьJetix in LatinAmerica started as this awesome channel that had cartoons and anime for everybody, and then little by little it started eliminating programming until it became a zombie with Pucca, Fairly OddParents season 1-4 and Dave the Barbarian on repeat.
Ответитьwatching this now, so many memories were unlocked... my all time fav was power rangers
ОтветитьI think I come back to this video yearly since you've posted it. Such a great breakdown and overall representation of the charm that Jetix had for a lot of kids and people our generation. Takes me back to a much simpler time, it really makes me feel for kids nowadays who have to watch the same cartoon on repeat daily or just some live action, soulless slop. Thanks again for this exceptional quality video, man!
ОтветитьI’m with you man
ОтветитьIn Romania we had FoxKids in the early 2000s but i preferred Cartoon Network. Then Jetix started taking over FoxKids and in a year or two completely replaced FoxKids.
There was a whole generation who loved Jetix as a channel and we were all IRRATIONALLY MAD when Disney started taking over.
I miss jetix (what's up with Andy, children of class 402, life with louie, winx, naruto, witch etc.)
My childhood was a triad of Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Fox Kids. When FK turned into Jetix it was definitely an upgrade. But then the live action nation attacked and it turned into Disney crap. I dropped it by then.
ОтветитьYou failed to mention Gur and Oach and mess and until Eilat
Ответитьthere is not a single gen z person in argentina that doesn't remember jetix fondly. EVERYONE around me adored jetix as much as i did, and in my case, it defined my taste in most of the shows i watch and the videogames i play. disneyXD was also a beloved channel among pre-teens and teens and when it was removed from the air, i remember everyone on my twitter timeline posting how we were all staring at the countdown to the channel's departure. both jetix and disneyXD were defining for my generation, and both channels will always live as a fond memory that defined a part, if not most of our vibe <3
ОтветитьGoodbye bird
Level up
It was thanks to Jetix that I met Power Rangers and decided to be a mechatronical engineer. I remember that me and my family were moving form our old house by the same time jetix changed to Disney XD. I spent months angry at my parents thinking this change was their fault because they moved the tv LOL
ОтветитьShinzo was my favorite jetix cartoon and for like 10 years I couldn’t remember it until I started singing the theme song
ОтветитьI really like disney xd cause i grew up on it, but from what i see in this video i wish i was able atleast watch jetix.
ОтветитьDragon Booster was my favorite!!!!!
Ответитьtheres a lot of focus on europe, and nothing on latinamerica. FAIL.
ОтветитьInteresting that in the US Jetix was a block on toon disney. Here in the UK Jetix replaced the channel spots for Fox Kids and Fox Kids +1 becoming Jetix and Jetix +1 however Disney still ran their own Toon Disney Channel seperately. This mean't that in the UK Jetix had no disney shows playing and pretty much had shows like digimon, power rangers, jackie chan adventures, etc... on reruns since they were already on there.
So the short of it is, we had a choice between Jetix or Toon Disney. After Jetix shut in the UK the channels were rebranded into Disney XD and Disney XD +1 while Toon Disney stayed around for a while longer. As a kid I thought XD was like a reference to the Jetix with the X being from the Jetix character and D being Disney "so Disney (Jetix + Disney)" which it wasn't; it was just Xtreme Disney because poor literacy is Kewl !
It's funny. As a kid I sent in a robot design for a show on Jetix at the time called "Cubix : Robots for everyone" is hopes of winning the competition and getting it animated in the show. I... didn't win. But they sent me a letter to tell me; along with a jetix sticker that I was somehow able to peel off the envelope and still have in my room today. So even though I lost, I still have something to look back on :D
(The label is just the Jetix character with "JETIX" and the jetix dot net site below btw, nothing really special) Just thought I'd share my Fox Kids > Disney XD experience. ^^
I still miss jetix. Loved watching digimon data squad (best digimon) and galactic football along with all the anime and 90s marvel
ОтветитьBest channel
ОтветитьSounds like a skill issue on America's part - Jetix, as someone in britain, was class. Best channel there was, I tribute it to introducing me to anime and getting invested in stories outside of the english speaking west.
ОтветитьI had a good time around there , and I used to watch jetix
ОтветитьDino thunder was my first ever power rangers and it got me so much into the series. Im an adult now and still love watching them from time to time just to reminisce. If it wasnt for jetix i wouldnt love what i do today.
ОтветитьMan the good old days.
Ответитьpxg was such a surprise throwback holy shit
ОтветитьIt’s one show were there were 3 different guys that fused together I can’t find
ОтветитьWhen you played the Jetix theme I felt like I was eleven years old again, waiting for Digimon reruns to air.
ОтветитьI hate Jetix for replace Fox kids
ОтветитьMY CHILDHOOD MAN
ОтветитьI enjoyed the Jetix block, and Get Ed was my favorite show.
ОтветитьPower Rangers was there all the time where Jetix was cool! Disney could made PR franchise stay!
ОтветитьThere was nothing like waking up, walking into my mom’s room, and sitting in her bed watching Power rangers Mystic force, operation overdrive or Spd on Jetix. Jesus I miss this, and her.
ОтветитьJetix had its impact on the Arab world too.
Please, Help me find on of the shows.
> The protagonist is a real human, twenties, he has black short hair, maybe an Asian guy.
> He goes inside a video game or whatever, he turns into a 3d animated character.
> He wear a tight clothes, like one piece, Black and has red lines in its sides.
> He's a good fighter, I guess he has a sword? and a motor bike, that's inside the video game or whatever
Disney Channel : Movies and live action stuff
Toon Disney : Sequel movies/shows plus some new idea's and rerun's
Cartoon Network: The OG CN cartoons and some dc.
Nickelodeion: SSP, Danny Phantom and Icarly
Jetix: The best stuff
This was the line up I had when I was smaller. So many programs and shows that I could view most times after school.
Jetix being part of Disney also meant that many show's on Disney Toon, was shown on Jetix as well. Witch and Galactic football appeared on both Toon Disney and Jetix. So when Disney XD arrived, it basically fused both channels, while losing many of it's popular programs that made Jetix unique. We got more live action like Two kings, while losing all the Core Jetix shows which he outlined for America.
This was the set up for Scandinavia, giving you room to watch a lot of anime in Cartoon network and Jetix, for then western cartoons on Network and Disney. Yu-gi-oh GX we had on Network, while pokemon on XD. TMNT2003 also appeared on Jetix and Network, showing that most popular show's really did mix between the four channels. Only Nick kept out of this sharing loop.
The woooorld of jeeetix belongs to you ‼️🔥🔥 good times
ОтветитьAs someone who watch jetix as kid I love it made me fans power rangers that show is awesome still watch it today
