Hmm, I wonder if it will get rid of the stomach belly fat problem even though I'm underweight? There's a varicose vein problem of regrowing new veins after surgery and a degenerative disk disease getting in the way. I'm wondering if this mass gainer will help in that regard?
I'm 68 and like to get out in the woods, gold pan, etc., but it's hard on the feet, because of the circulation problems. I haven't seen Mass Gainer in the stores to try. I'm thinking it should help regrow my veins.

OK, I couldn't find that video on electrolytes you mentioned. I'm currently been drinking Body Armor because it's the only one that has zinc in it so far, though I don't know if it is an electrolyte.

You're absolutely right about the worth of nutrient-dense foods for survival situations -- but there's one big caveat that relates directly to the notion that "I could eat it for a year and be fine." Factory foods are likely to have some ingredients that are extremely pro-inflammatory and/or hormonally deregulating. And while chemical analysis may indicate contents of certain macro- and micronutrients, their bioavailability may be in question. Native peoples of North America used pemmican as a survival food during lean seasons and travel (but you can't buy it in the store and preparing it at home can be tricky). But quality dried meat and shelf-stable fats like tallow and ghee, along with dried fruits and maybe some desiccated organ supplements, while not cheap, are another option -- and the recipe options could be slightly better than those with mass gainer products.

PB is great but by itself can lodge in the esophagus and kill you. I know this because I lost a cousin that way. Put it on a cracker or something that will take it to the bottom. The powder sounds like a great supplement but if that's all I could get, after awhile, I'd probably eat it with a 125 grain bullet lol.

I played with that type of thing long ago but it was instant breakfast powder types. Nowhere near as good as this. Thanks for the info. No fat or not enough and you will have issues with cognitive function as well. Wonder how long this lasts unopened and in cool dark spot.

What would you say about beef jerky??? Caned sardines. Yea that’s good weight gainer is what most people call it . But whatever that’s a great idea 💡. Gonna start incorporating that into my inventory. Again jerky meats and peanut butter is great 👍🏼.

I make pemmican. Shit loads of it. Mostly out of deer and bear, but it's tasty and stores damn near forever without refrigeration. They have found caches in Canada over 150 years old and it was still edible. Tallow is awesome and a super food unto itself.

Great idea brother and glad I came across this particular video because I've been feeling like that little mathematical chicken with those big glasses on the Foghorn leghorn cartoon adding up all these different food preps to have on hand and to stow away for later. Stay safe and keep doing what you do brother.

The best survival food is pemmican which was a Native American survival winter food. It’s jerky preferably bison or venison mixed with tallow and berries. It’s has enough calories and fat for the whole day. Animal tallow is the best friend when it comes to fat. This and bannock.

As a telco lineman, I used to keep a jar of peanut butter and a tin of Keebler export soda crackers in my truck. If I didn’t bring a lunch and was not able to buy that day, I still had something to eat. The crackers stayed fresh for weeks in that tin.
