Now we are not sure exactly what because we take creatine and lycine also.
Also he switched to carnivore diet about a year ago
I buy Life Extension capsules because they are better than California Gold brand in that it cost around £8 from iHerb, 90 capsules each 1000 mg and fillers are vegetable cellulose (capsule), silica and vegetable sterate. So overall I feel trumps gold as can’t remember of hand but think has more awful fillers. I always endeavour to buy a brand with little to no fillers if possible and I think California Gold had too many more than Life extensions- correct me if wrong.😊

ОтветитьConsidering it's been in energy drinks at roughly 1 gram a can for decades, I think anything under 4 grams a day is about as tried tested and true as you can hope to get.

ОтветитьI read that they did a study on dogs with seizures. They gave Taurine and the seizures reduced, when they stopped giving it, the seizures came back. My old boy started having seizures when he was 11 years old. I started giving him Taurine daily 675mg (since I had not guidance). He was 2 years seizure free, he just turned 15 last month, then he had another seizure. I increased Taurine dosage and he hasn't had one in 2 months. Since I read that higher dosages are OK, he's getting 2000 a day now. I take it for my heart health. 60 year old, taking 3-6 g a day for a year now. So far haven't noticed any side effects. I also get it in my food, since I'm eating carnivore. I also feed my dogs real meat no kibble.

Your digestive tract can only absorb about 1g every several hours any more than this and the unabsorbed taurine finds its way to your colon where the H2S bacteria will be happy to produce plenty of hydrogen sulfide gas, sufficient to cause intestinal inflammation and ultimately cancer so maybe you want to add an addendum where you emphasize, no more than 1g per dose with a few hours between does. ОтветитьI really would like to try taurine. I have a milder version of hypotension that climbs to like 150-160 / over 100-105 if left to its own. I haven't tried stressing how high it could get. I mostly want taurine for the longevity question. But I see this b.p. dropping effect as intriguing too. What do you think about my case. Somewhere in my 50's

ОтветитьEat beans is dumb especially in your 60s. Beans are very high carbohydrate and full of anti nutritionists/lectins. Get a blood glucose monitor, get a fasting insulin and get an OGTT.
