Being there live was an event, I started crying so hard. I’m watching this rn taking blinkers, feeling like it was that first live Night.

This was great but whoeever directed this needs to stop cutting away from the important scenes to go somewhere else with Reva and Liea...completely broke the tension

“Geez where has this been the whole time” literally every Star Wars show when it’s not doing a clone wars flash back, this dude calls it horrible

the show overall was a letdown but it had it's moments

I think the ENTIRE show was the best! Ewan McGregor HIMSELF said that it wouldn’t disappoint, and it did not! For me and my family, that is. Hayden Christensen actually looked kinda younger in this flashback scene. If you want more of Obi-Wan training Anakin, there’s a Star Wars novel that takes place between Attack of the Clones (Episode II) and Revenge of the Sith (Episode III). That novel is called Star Wars: Brotherhood, I would recommend reading it if you haven’t already.

I liked this scene overall, but I still think they should've dome digital de-aging on Hayden's face. "Attack of the Clones" was set when Anakin was 19, but by the time of the "Kenobi" show, Hayden was 40. His performance was still very good, but you could tell he wasn't in his 20s anymore. Ewan didn't need that kind of thing, since he was given the appropriate wig and beard from "Episode II".

The music in this scene was really great

This was EASILY the best part of the series.. But even with this, I still have problems with it.

The no de-aging is a BIG red flag.. But Obi-Wan telling Anakin: “You grow too aggressive, Anakin. Be mindful. A Jedi’s goal is to defend life, not take it.”

Whilst mere seconds earlier, Obi-Wan tries to take a slash at Anakin’s face/head 🤨 Dumb! Contradictory and hypocritical.

Has anyone realized that this end of the battle is the exact same as Anakin vs Ashoka in the world between worlds?

Things like this are the reasons anakin fell. How is he supposed to pass a trial without trying to prove himself. And one of the two has to be the aggressor or there will be no duel 🤷‍♂️

Came back to this series after the Anakin episode of Ahsoka. The music sucks such major dong, I really don't understand why they didn't use any established themes with such integral characters.

Could've deaged them for the sake of continuity.

As a true Star Wars fan it’s impossible to ever get sick of seeing Ewan and Hayden dueling. They just dedicate so much to it and make it a grand spectacle every time! I thank them both for their contributions to the saga and the lore

I just rewatched AotC and a thought came up. It would’ve been very interesting to get a series showing the gap between Phantom Menace and AotC bc Anakin is just a kid during the entirety of episode 1 and then we get to episode 2 and he’s about 18 or so. It’d be interesting to see his and Obi-Wan’s adventures while seeing Anakin grow up and their relationship develop

It's was great to see them back but they couldn't even put the effort in making them looking younger here. The show was garbage sadly. Best parts were vader of course but a failed attempt to making a good show. Disney ruins everything.

When obi wans saber was pointed down at the floor, was it touching the floor or hovering above because if it’s touching the floor, the why isn’t going through it?

The show had cool moments then ruined by the rest of the episode.

the constant blurring is annoying

when i saw the fight... i couldn't gauge what the win condition was. Anakin look like he won because he pinned Kenobi down while disarming him... it would be over right? But Obi-wan continued the spar to then say it's over after disarming Anakin... After it was suppose to be over, right?

I know I'm not the only one who is reminded of episode 3 from this. Beautiful scene.
