Because it’s the same thing as satanism. They arnt worshiping goats butt naked in the middle of the woods. The problem with racism is that you give them the reaction they want. In the 90s they were all kids everyone was edgy and made racist jokes until they grew up. Now we have a bunch of adults that don’t want to grow up. Most of these guys don’t know what they’re talking about because let’s be real the nazis lost over 70 years ago. They’re just roleplaying because they think it’s cool and edgy.
Ответить"People who don't like Jews, Christians, or people of colour"
Christianity is a privileged religion in western culture and is not comparable to ethnicity, such as the other two examples in your phrasing. I see a lot of Christians with this persecution complex where they think they're some kind of minority under attack and it grinds my gears. Jews and people of colour experience persecution- Christians do not. Please don't put them in the same category.
I sometimes listen to NSBM and RABM but I am mostly for the music, there are things in them that I don't agree with, like Nazi ideology and Communism
ОтветитьIf you blindly follow and deify lyrics of band songs no matter If they are extreme right wing like Hate Forest or extreme left wing like Mrakobesie, you will become one of those people in the echo chambers even if you don't want to. Separating art from the artist is good but not blindly following lyrics is also important
ОтветитьThis poser listens to slipshit and kornnuggets AND paints his nails girly purple? And he dares to criticize Men of Valor who did real stuff and those who revere them? Color me surprised.
Ответитьthere is no black metal without nsbm...i like it ...i have my personal beliefs and music cant change that...i take black metal for what it is....and its not music for the masses....the misanthropy and isolation is what i take out of it...i hate everyone the same....if you have to purify your black metal then leave it the fuck alone....

ОтветитьYou're very wise. I listen to "nsbm" but I'm not really into bands that are "full-on" NSBM where their actual band identity is wrapped up in racist ideas. I find that a lot of bands get labeled as NSBM based on the musician's personal leanings such as Graveland or Drudkh for instance, which I feel is a bit disingenuous when you have bands like Der Sturmer who have a flagrantly Nazi image.
Different people draw different lines and some will surely choose to stop listening to a band just because they're right wing. Just look at Iced Earth. It's not even like the dude's a Nazi he's just a Trumpist but people chose to stop listening to him. And that's perfectly fine.
But it seems the minute you say you like Burzum or Satanic Warmaster people look at you like you're some sort of far right incel or something and the truth is much more often than not, that a person simply just likes that music.
I can agree that you definitely need to meet people with grace and that helps out with life in general. I would argue that people really need to cool it on the harsh judgments towards people who listen to "so called" nsbm/nsbm lite such as Burzum, Drudkh, etc (which I don't even consider nsbm anyway). But that said, you don't need to focus on "educating" these particular people about "right and wrong", etc, because usually their moral compass is just fine.
Liking an obscure Ukrainian folk black metal band that writes beautiful melodies and poems doesn't make the listener morally askew just because the guy in the band said something sketchy one time. It just means that listener finds something to connect to in the music which is completely reasonable and okay. If someone only cares to listen to nothing but nsbm, AND there are other signs that they are a closet extremist, then perhaps you may want to check their moral pulse.
But everyone is getting REALLY tired of the whole "if you listen to Graveland, etc, you're a nazi" crap. It's played out, doesn't make logical sense, is completely unproductive, and injects politics and division where it need not be.
People from the punk world seem to think like "if you're not with us, we're against you", but in metal it is more "every man for himself." A lot of the people who rail the heaviest against people liking controversial bands seem to be from hard-left punk circles or genres of metal heavily influenced by punk such as grindcore, and while it makes sense in the punk world it just doesn't make as much sense in metal overall, especially black metal which is highly individualistic. By this token I think people need to take a step back, be a bit more "live and let live," or as you say, at the very least - be open to communicate - rather than just jumping straight to the ban-hammer and excommunication. It's so unproductive man.
The only bands I outright refuse to listen to are ones with explicitly "NS" names, just because it comes across as so utterly fucking lame. Especially any band that has fucking "88" in the name, it just screams "incel"....
ОтветитьNSBM👑
ОтветитьThere’s a saying I heard that went something like “if you’re influenced to do immoral things by music or media you were just an immoral person on a weak leash “ it’s like someone saying someone got schizophrenia from lsd. Odds are they had tendencies prior to the catalyst being introduced.
ОтветитьWell, it is up to the listeners to cast their own moral judgements regardless of the messages in the music they consume. If a piece of media led to someone becoming a bad person; chances are that that person would have become a bad person regardless of media influence. When it comes to the niche scene, there will likely always be one part of a niche that foster the type of people that cultivate hatred.
ОтветитьWhen you say violent protests and pushing ideas I thought of ANTIFA.
ОтветитьI am trans. I write and record black metal. Non Satanic Black Metal (NSBM) isn't appealing to me, because it lost it's core to be rebellious against the status quo by romanticizing a status quo the want as an end goal.
You don't have to agree with me. Just my opinion.
I love your work brother !
ОтветитьHere’s why right leaning BM will ALWAYS beat lefty BM; right side is inspired by advancement of their culture, pride in history and preservation which manifests in their music - ie riffs of glory, compositions of triumph. Lefty BM is founded on destroying history and culture to make was for tolerance, global ideals and faux philanthropy. In short, right side or nat-BM raises the torch, while the left extinguishes it and bends a knee! There is no comparison, the legendary bands you fear are still relevant because preservation is becoming more of a necessity for European countries and America as well.
ОтветитьRight side makes better BM because of tenants of history, culture and preservation. Left side only knows how to destroy and make room for “global tolerance”. Compare Totale Vernichtung or Absurd to your Dawn Ray’d, there is no comparison. BM is not for you, maybe try B”L”M instead hahahah
ОтветитьYep sounds about transgender, NSBM on top little pissboy
Ответить-White man has been here...
-How could you tell?
-Video essay.
Bro did u just call romanian nsbm muscians intolerant biggots with no cultural and ethnic roots in their music? Do you even know 3 romanian edgy political bands?
Ответитьwhat a collosal megaton dweeb love the turned up collar it matches your effervesence. Being a natioand nalist means you are a patriot proud of your land and your culture a lifestyle which truly combats globalism and the new w0rld order this is why it is falsely labeled nazism because the powers that be do not like patriots. You can be proud of being white for instance with;out it being white pride dig? Peste nolire gets labled nazis which is a motherfucking joke
ОтветитьRopemaxx twink
ОтветитьWhen a hippy trys to make metal.😂😂
ОтветитьWhile I generally agree with the notion of 'separating the art from the artist' in the case of NSBM and other similar musical genres this is simply impossible. The only differences between NSBM and other BM are the lyrics and imagery. If there were other differences like in the music itself, production, etc, than there would have been something to talk about. However without them what makes NSBM NSBM are the artists, who put their personal beliefs front and center in their art, so it's impossible to separate them. Now, that's not to say that everyone who listens to NSBM automatically subscribes to this ideology, far from it.
The way I see it there are 2 camps in NSBM fans. The first camp are those that are truly enthralled by the ideology. The second camp are those that are just enjoying the lyrics for what they are, another form of extreme darkness, not all that different from extreme violence and gore like say Cannibal Corpse or the even more extreme bands that followed them, goregrind and all that. There's a lot to say about the NS ideology itself, and the people who subscribe to it, most of whom don't even know what NS actually stands for. Most of them only know what they heard from insert random, often nefarious source here who may or may not have been representing the actual NS ideology truthfully, regardless of what we think of the actual ideology itself.
The issue is that regardless of whether a NS subscriber actually understands what NS stood for or not, said person does have an understanding of what s/he thinks it does based on whichever source introduced him/her to the NS movement initially. This thinking, even if not what NS was originally, does reflect what NS has become in modern times. A black hole of unending hatred towards anyone and everyone, often including themselves, born out of nothing but utter ignorance. You're giving them way too much credit Imho by talking about their pagan roots, connection to the land, ancestors, etc. These people do exist mind you, but they're a separate group than the NS crowd. There obviously is some overlap between the 2 groups but they are 2 different groups with 2 different, arguably parallel, ideologies. Paganism on its own doesn't necessitate blind hatred towards everyone that isn't you or the group you belong to. It's just that people can subscribe to multiple different ideologies, especially when they're dealing with different issues, on different planes(mathematical term).
Back to NSBM, there is no issue with the people who just enjoy it for the music, or even for the lyrics, as long as they don't act upon them. After all a lot of people have all sorts of whacky fantasies, which can include vulgar crimes like rapes, murders, etc. These fantasies, while far from ideal obviously, are not dangerous in and of themselves. It's only when the person having these fantasies becomes unstable enough to actually act upon these fantasies that s/he becomes dangerous. It's only those very specific NS communities that use NSBM as a recruitment tool for their cult(in essence) that are the truly dangerous ones. Now, these communities will exist with or without NSBM, so the only actual risk here is people who were otherwise not at all interested in NS who became fascinated by it because of the music and got dragged deep into that rabbit hole to the point where they're now very much a part of it and can no longer escape it(whether they actual want to or not).
Likewise I wholeheartedly agree with you on the free speech aspect of it all. I strongly disagree with this ideology but like you I don't think censorship is the answer. In fact I agree with you that censorship only made it worst and is one of the reasons the NS movement has grown so vast in the entire western world. If society wasn't so utterly terrified of dealing with the NS crowd and instead chose the easy way of simply censoring them, out of sight out of mind and all that, than we wouldn't have had this massive problem we have today. Our only point of contention in this regard is in the whole 'educating them' aspect, as many of the disciples of NSBM are well past this point. It may have been possible, decades ago, but the train has already left the station a long time ago and isn't coming back. At this point the only solution is to deal with the leaders of these groups, on a criminal level, and keep close watch on their disciples so that whenever they merely begin to plan an actual violent action against anyone they will immediately be on the police radar and in turn be caught and prosecuted before they can put their plans into action.
Man becoming an Nazi cuz a weirdo in the forest decided to scream about his ancestors is insane there was already no hope for them
ОтветитьOf course someone who looks like this with korn and slipknot stickers has a problem with nsbm.
ОтветитьWhy is it ALWAYS the people who look like incels call others incels??
ОтветитьThis genre strikes me as: "i got harcore bullied at school so i became a racist/nazi who makes crap music to have sad sense of belonging with other losers" Listen to what you want but this is some hard loser music that is most likely connected to cringe nationalist orgs
ОтветитьDon't care for nsbm or ns anything, but screw communism and neo-marxists and their dangerous ideology and symbols.
ОтветитьOkay nerd
ОтветитьWill you do the dangers of communist morons in music? No? Probably can s your not really a rebellious type you herd conforming npc
ОтветитьSomebody has a blleding vaginal canal
ОтветитьPeople sit there and listen to pedo Michael Jackson who literally touched kids and that’s okay, but NSBM?!! CANCELED!!
Ответитьi'll still be listening to my NSBM songs i dont need to listen to this unibrow little brony fan
ОтветитьYou can't separate art from the artist... the extra context adds some space into the music.😉
ОтветитьI just know you rape kids
ОтветитьYou have set the new world record for virtue signalling.
ОтветитьWord salad 🥗 We don't care about morals, morality is human made.
ОтветитьPC woke crybaby! Black metal isn't about playing it safe or by the rules of society, much like punk rock. The difference is that black metal is mostly right wing leaning by nature as it is synonymous with Europeans getting in touch with their pagan cultural roots and being ethnic conscious. NSBM is just a more extreme version of this. If you don't like it, then you shouldn't be listening to black metal in the first place.
ОтветитьLol
Ответитьm8l8tx mogs your riffs
ОтветитьAnyone heard a japeneze b.m band called no point in living ?

NO ONE Gives A Shit Bruh,We're NOT Communist
ОтветитьNice to see a metal channel with a little nuance instead of the usual beating the audience over the head with the cookie-cutter left or right wing bias
