Hi man, great video again, learning alot! Been also watching vids with you and chris on hormones metabolism and test, one thing I dont understand and cant find research. Im dieting for a photoshoot and diet is in check, minerals in check, protein at 0,8g/lbs, efficient training on compounds etc etc. what macros will be best for highest Test and Metabolism, saw a comment of you at 20-30% fat and chris at 35-40%. In my case, 20-25% fat 50-55% carbs or 35-40% fat and 35-40% carbs, cant find any research, thanks alot!

So informative.. Thanks! Wanted to ask. I know that eating lots of simple carbs depletes minerals, which isn't really good. How to deal with this issue ?

so this might be why insulin sensitivity is directly correlated with testosterone levels...better insulin sensitivity better testosterone...all by way of improved metabolism and less stress hormones antagonizing testosterone

What are some of your favorite recommendations of glucose in foods (not fructose)?

So would fruit carbs create more co2?

So, what macronutrient distribution do you recomend for a person which is in a stressed/low metabolic state?

This sounds so stupid. You trying to trick people into eating carbs and getting fat. Your hypothesis doesn't make sense.

I recently drastically increased my calorie intake, mostly in the form of extra carbs from fruits and starchy vegetables. I used to be chronically cold and extremely cold intolerant, but after literally just a few days of eating a lot more carbs, my body seems to have warmed up significantly, but I'm confused if that's a good thing. This uncoupling thing that you spoke about where the cells just dissipate glucose as heat instead of producing ATP -- is this a good thing or a bad thing? Although I'm very happy about being warmer, I'm also massively bloated and my skin is itchy all over, and I suspect my liver is really struggling to process all the extra food, and I also think I've been eating way too many starches, because that's when I get the most bloated. For the past two years I was on a low-fat raw vegan food fruitarian diet with lots of daily intermittent fasting, which essentially meant that I wasn't even taking in enough calories at all. And so my metabolism was massively depressed this whole time. Now I've switched to the Ray Peat diet and noticing all these changes but worried about the bloating and itching.
