Ive only taken one train, from AZ to Cali, it was great, planes are scary, busses are horrible, I’d love to take a longer train trip and I’d be lucky to have company as great as these guys.

I love travelling by train. Its so relaxing. Yes, its a sliw mode of transportation and at times you might not see much, depending on where you are on the line, but if youre on vacation time doesnt really matter THAT much anyway. Enjoy the journey. Its just as much a part of the trip as the destination

I swear this train video is one of the most relaxing 1s I've seen yet. There is something so cozy about riding on a quiet, empty, train car through the snow covered mountains and wrapping the night up in a laying in a tight bunk looking out the window

@stevewallis I know this comment is 2 years late. But I am a grade 9 signaller in the UK and it’s universals that after a set distance that the train passes a proceed signal (yellow or green) it will then change the aspect of that signal to a red. Because your further back then the overlap of that signal is why it appears that you are blowing through reds. @campingwithsteve

If you get the chance, take a coastal train trip up/down California, and if you have enough time through Oregon and Washington. It's worth it.

I've been an avid watcher and I somehow missed this video until now. Man so much can change quickly. Loving all the old and new content Steve. The Ovens crossovers are a ton of fun too. This train trip is on my bucket list!

That menu is pretty boring sounding. I don't blame you guys for being disappointed. Seems like rail travel is only fe the glitzy glamorous crowd. Us vagrants need to fend for ourselves if we want to get full.

Catching up on some of your older videos. It's pretty crazy that the train just allows you get down in the middle of nowhere, with no station platform or anything.

If you're wondering why you keep running red lights, it's because the signals automatically switch from green to red as soon as the locomotive passes them.

Oh, I forgot to explain the black eye haha. For those that haven’t seen on Facebook or Instagram I slipped on the ice and smashed my head pretty bad. Wish it was a better story, but it’s all healed up now. I'm overdue for some stealth camping so I've got one planned next if all goes well. Cheers!
