Thank you as always Elliott family, your tone, choices of vocabulary, your outlook on life and your vision of your home and property is so beautiful and heavenly. Your ora and tone helps give me the same grace, patience, vision and joy in my home and new homestead and I'm most grateful for that. You are such a staple for parenting, for work, for life and for how to feel as human...its lovely and a pleasure to watch you all grow, its mentoring and refreshing daily reminders to remain as " just bee-ing". Thank you.
ОтветитьI love it when Stewart joins you for videos
ОтветитьYou may already be aware but there’s a tool called a cherry pitter that would make that is so much easier than using a knife, and probably less messy 🙈😅 either way I am envious of all your cherries!!
ОтветитьI really look forward to all your content!! 🌟🙌🏼🌟
ОтветитьMulberries - don't try to pick by hand. Put a sheet (or tarp) under the tree. Then shake the branches. The ripe fruit will fall onto the sheet. Or you can have the kids hold the corners of the sheet. Have someone climb the tree and shake the branches. Watch the ripe berries fall.
ОтветитьI thought I was really going to impress my bees with lots of scabiosa (pin cushion) this year, but they bypass it every time and go straight to the catmint. So I have lots of catmint starts that I rotate in as the others fade out a bit, because they LOVE fresh catmint blooms. 🐝 I do lots of Russian Sage, too, but even that seems to fall short if there is catmint nearby. Whatever makes them happy is all good with me!😊
ОтветитьI just wish you did not raise and kill animals! But beautiful family.
ОтветитьThanks for all the tips!
ОтветитьYour garden is beautiful. I enjoy seeing it and watching you preserve. This is a busy time of year but it’s so rewarding. Thanks for sharing.💚
ОтветитьA little bit of Heaven seems. Thank you
ОтветитьMerci beaucoup c'est beau, educatif et tres intéressant ❤😊
ОтветитьLovely video - would have been nice to have a few more details eg which dryer(s) were you using and why.
ОтветитьThanks Shay! I live vicariously thru you and your family. My little garden is 5 raised beds and some large pots, but we LOVE eating what we do grow. (Also impressed with your responsiveness to questions. Love your channel)
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful video. Thank you for taking time to show us your bountiful garden blessings. Do you dry feverfew for tea? The honey syrup for you canned goods is in place of sugar I presume?
ОтветитьWhat were you doing with the cherry pits at the end?
ОтветитьBeautiful! 🧡
Hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and dragonflies and mosquitos...all are welcome.
We opt out of mosquito control (year 3) and we have dragonflies.
Oooooo.....whats the deets on cherry whiskey?!🤤😋
ОтветитьThankyou so much for doing this lovely videos, God bless you all!!
ОтветитьWere those beautiful little white flowers feverfew or chamomile?
ОтветитьHow amazing. Thank you for the inspiration ❤
ОтветитьHappy 4th of July Weekend 🎊🎉🎈💥🇺🇲!
Beautiful Cherries😍.
Enjoy!
JO JO IN VT 💞
I live in SW Idaho and I have a Montmorency pie cherry tree. I wish you could come pick some of mine, I have to pick and pit them all myself and it’s a lot of work! I pit them with a paper clip, so as not to smash the fragile fruit.
ОтветитьThat sage is gorgeous with that purple hue! Do you know the name of it? Ours doesn't have that hue - it's so beautiful!!
ОтветитьSuch a pretty garden!
ОтветитьAwesome guys ❤God bless😊🕊🌻
ОтветитьI so look forward to each new video, and have for a few years!! God Bless.
ОтветитьWhat were those last things going into the dehydrator? Cherry pits, and something else?
Wondering what those are used for :)
Wow beautiful box of cherries. So envious. Need to get a cherry pitter! ;)
ОтветитьI love your channel and am grateful for all that you have taught us over the years! Perhaps you have a reason for not using one, but a simple and inexpensive hand held cherry pitter is a life saver! ☺️
ОтветитьAs always, absolutely lovely.
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful garden. Such a joy to see and it's wonderful to see the kids joining in.
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьYou have a lot of beauty there, but also a lot of work ❤ for sure
ОтветитьHi Shaye, thanks so much for sharing your time, space, and knoweldge. What were the little white flowers? I thought it might be chamomile but the clustering of flowers and leaves look different than the variety I grow.
ОтветитьIt’s ALL so beautiful, peaceful, and just so dreamy Shaye! I know you guys put a TON of work into all that beauty ❤ Thank you so much for sharing this with us 😉 Love from the south 🍑
