Reviewing the best stock Android phones you can buy in the back half of 2024. From Google's Pixel 9 to the Pro XL and Fold, to the Nothing Phone 2a and Motorola's Edge 50 smartphones, these are my favourite vanilla Androids to suit all budgets. Over 15 top mobiles in total!

Of course, one of the best options for a stock Android vibe is buying a Google smartphone. If you're on a budget, the affordable Pixel 8a boasts Google exclusive features and some of the best camera phone action in 2024 for a mid-range handset. If you have more cash, the Pixel 9, 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL are even more premium. They boast upgraded cameras, Tensor G4 performance and excellent battery life.

The Nothing Phone 2 is a strong rival, with a unique Glyph Lighting design and the option of Nothing OS' dot matrix stylings. For a stricter budget, check out the Nothing Phone 2A and 2A Plus.

Likewise, Motorola recently released its fresh Moto Edge 50 Ultra, Fusion and Neo phones. These boast slick design and a similar stock Android vibe to the Pixels.

I’m also a massive fan of the Asus Zenfone 10, one of my favourite compact smartphones launched last year. It's another stock Android setup, with incredible battery life despite its mini form factor. And if you want to go foldable, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Moto RAZR 50 Ultra are your two main options.
