Imo Lil baby doesn’t have enough substance, versatility or lyrical talent to keep me engaged in a 22 song album. After about 5 songs you get what the rest of the album s gonna sound like.

I guarantee in a few months a lotta these same ppl will turn back on their word and say the album is goated. the album literally just dropped, it took him months to make it, maybe you can give it atleast a week to sit on it before you decide to label it a “trash album”

my honest opinion is his best verses where use in features. Or could he believe that he was so hot he could drop anything and people would think it was fire. People waited three years for this maybe it was super over hype and it dint live up to it.

I was a little let down with this joint,it wasn't trash, I wish he would rap with the flow he started out with this new choppy delivery he got going is a lil boring to me I need that flow he bodied drake with but it's probably hard to come with that consistently

I wish he was as musically talented as people make him out to be, that would definitely help him out a lot. He doesn't rap at an elite level to receive elite rapper praise, he doesn't actually make good music aside from that; like he doesn't naturally have a good ear or gift of melody like Gunna or Roddy Rich does, and the hooks and vibes they create are leaps and bounds ahead of him. The streets feel him but he doesn't even convey the tone well for me either like some dudes have a street tone 2 Chainz, Dolph, Key Glock, Gucci, 21 Savage or Moneybagg Yo it's like you can hear in the tone of their voice it matches the brand, Lil Baby delivery is horrid to listen to for 5 songs let alone 23 straight smh. Lastly people always talk about his bars and they just never stick, it's like all jabs and no haymaker or K.O. blows. If you listen like how I do 21 for example has way better bars/punchlines than Baby does but the offbrand "Wayne" flow makes most think he's snapping. Big Sean said a while ago "all that rapping fast, but not saying nothing" that's basically Lil Baby to me. All the beats he raps to are similar and not in a good way either, Rick Ross was never the best rapper and over time has gotten so good his verses just seem perfect at times but it's largely based on how amazing of an ear he has for beat selections. Like how Gunna always is working with Whezzy or Turbo the songs may sound similar but never the same and he's always able to make a bop with it. Him, Pee and Coach K owe the Migos everything cause that's all this was, hype from the QC come up off the Migos been telling people he is not that guy, he has NO bops. Da Baby had like 7-9 bops damn near by himself not to mention the features and he gets no love meanwhile Lil Baby has no bops compared to him. This dude has been a joke and massive marketing ploy from the beginning tbh. I can make three separate list of rappers that 1. RAP better than Lil Baby 2. Make better overall music than him and 3. Do BOTH better...

The album is 50/50. Half the songs are nice. I would consider all the nice ones to be B or C tier. No big hits or A's... Id say the project is mid but the bad songs are all F tier and there is like 6 or 7 bad songs/filler songs. (3 or 4 also being C-/D Tier like Waterfall Flow, FR, California Breeze, ) That makes the whole project a C- on the verge of being a D.. I'm a big lil baby fan and this is my honest opinion. I enjoyed From Now On, Back and Forth, Shiest Talk, Not Finished, Stop Playing. Everything, Heyy, and Never Hating were horrible songs. He wasn't even on beat. In a Minute is A tier from Lil Baby but you can't include that single. It's been out for so long. Futures verse was horrible.

Took me months to want to play this album I was not impressed. Should have did 12 songs with different tempo of beats. He lacked hella variety.
