This movie is awesome! Loved when i rented it on video from Earl's video back in the 80's! It's still great! Cool kills, characters unexpected deaths, and Kevin Dillions horrible mullet!

I love this film. The Blob is amazing. My first movie in theaters to kill a kid on screen.
The waitress is Candy Clark, from a lot of things, including the original Buffy, The Vampire Slayer with Ms. Deadly Friend herself, Kristy Swanson.
The Kevin Dillon motorcycle jump? The stuntman made the jump and the cycle tires popped on landing. And the wobble that made it look like a less than clean landing was the stuntman keeping it together.

I always listen to you guys on a Friday night while doing the housework the housework downstairs with my headphones on while my wife and kids do the upstairs. Perfect Friday night listening . . . or if I fall behind which is rare or I’m on a repeat listen . . . strangely enough I listen to you working out in the gym. Great, great show guys.

In all honesty, Rob Zombie's version sounded interesting with multiple blob creatures taking human shape. That's what I heard anyway. Side note. She's Erika Eleniak I believe it's spelled. Also was on Baywatch.

Underrated remake

One of the most neglected remakes of the 1980’s. Not only should it have been a hit but it deserves to be ranked next The Thing and The Fly. I love it.

I grew up watching the original from a very young age, so I will watch that anytime! No bad things to say about it. The remake is indeed awesome though.

The Blob is amazing! I'm surprised there was no mention of the killer song at the end credits. Brave New Love by Alien which I'm sure John loves and Lance hates!

I grew up on this one. One of my earliest horrors. Saw it when I was about 6. It opened up my doors to horror (if you dont count Jaws, T2, Predator, etc.). But I know this one directly led to the NOES series (starting with NOES 2), and several other horrors occasionally spruced in to my life... at a more rapid and rapid pace.

I have fond memories. I also enjoy the original these days - as I've gotten older, with mr McQueen. Agree this is by far the superior version too.

This movie is awesome! From the effects to cast, the sheriff was also in Walking Dead, when it was still good lol. And I agree, no one was safe! Lol

This movie got the absolute best from its concept. So many memorable scenes and incredible practical effects. No modern take on it could replace it.

Not just one of the best remakes but top 10 best horror films. I was fortunate enough to see this in theaters with a packed audience.

John, you've never seen 'Hell Night'! WTF dude!!!!! How!!!! Anyway great video, agree the blob is one of the best remakes, saw this in the cinema and had an absolute blast.

There’s a movie I used to watch a lot when I was little. For about twenty years, I had this scene in my head of a woman coming around the corner of a building and something making a “beep beep” noise like the Road Runner. I could never find this movie and it drove me nuts bc I KNEW I didn’t make this up from something I watched when I was 4. Finally, last year Scream Factory puts out Deadly Friend. I about lost my shit with relief when I finally found the movie Deadly Friend is awesome.

This was one of those VHS my dad had that we’d watch much to the protest of my mom lol good memories .

Love The Blob. The practical effects were great. All of the cast was great too, and the set up in the dudes trunk was cool!

This is one I always love to introduce this to people because it's so criminally underrated and one of the lesser known 80's classics. People are always shocked by how brutal it is but they always end up loving it.

Hey guys, I just recently discovered your show, and I'm enjoying it. The Blob is a great movie, and totally underrated.

I remember hiring the VHS from my local video store. The box art was memorising the film itself is virtually flawless and the special FX sequences still hold up. The Blob rules ok!

The Blob 1988 is awesome! the cast,practical effects,kills,ect. It's among the good remakes of classic(the Thing,the Fly and Invaders from Mars)

I love this film and saw a when released on VHS thought it was so much better than the og which I don't mind as I was about 4 when I saw it.
