So iv completed all steps intill i get to the installing the offline update, the update gets to stage 2 going onto stage 3 but the xbox reboot itself and cauea the screen to go back to something went wrong error e100

I have a 1928GB drive. Even though I can format this drive as a 2TB (1.7...) using this technique, the Xbox offline update keeps reformatting it at a 1TB (0.7...) Is there a way to get around this? Install the OS outside the Xbox? Please help.

So im on windows 8, i used the old .bat file. When it created the partitions, windows popped up that they need to be formatted. I ignored the prompts because i thought the script would take care of that, or was i supposed to format them?

The .bat file doesn't do anything.. it only has these 3 lines

* Running: create_xbox_drive.ps1
* and enabling PowerShell scripts to be run directly with:
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned

What do you do when even this won’t work? I followed every step and it appeared to be working. But I ran into the same issue. Offline Update gets to 65% and shuts off with System Error: E100 00000703 80910002. I have the offline update on a new flash drive. Yes it’s formatted to NTFS, and yes it has the system update folder from the unzipped osh1 folder. I also had followed this video step by step and deleted everything on my 1tb hard drive and created the new partitions using the script from the same source shown in this video. My Xbox is still stuck in the loop of turning off at 67% completion for the offline update, or immediate shut off when selecting factory reset. Please help!

I have been trying this for hours with no success. Xbox one x upgrading to a 2t samsung ssd. Ive repeated the steps here as well and repeated the steps to the offline update.
I even tried cloaning the drive.
Failure after failure. Im at my wits end.

I had the system error e102 then I tried too use a flash drive 32gb download the osu1 on the drive plugged it in then I got system error e101 I don’t know what too do

My xbox was not working so I replaced the hard drive and the screen showed something finally but I needed to format it so i did and when i try the offline update it just shows something went wrong and I get a E101 error so I don't know now

Just in case anyone else has this problem, I reformat it in NTFS, but I should have format it in exfat format Then everything else should work properly you’re welcome!!!! Make sure when you do the off-line update the USB is in NTFS format so hdd or ssd exfat usb NTFS !!!😊

Also the cdrom drive spins the odd time. I did this on my other x box and some hassle. I remember holding down the power button and another one for 2 beeps ??? Can't find the video I watched. Also is the USB a one hit wonder per install with the OSU file ??? TKS any advice would be great. I have been at it for 4hrs I disconnected the cdrom drive and did the install it failed and plugged it back in and failed again. Do I need to flash the the Xbox some how. ????

so with mine im doing a offline system update i've got the osu file and its stuck on preparing console should i just leave it for a few hours or something, at first the console is stuck on a gray screen for a bit so theres like a cooldown

Tried to do a hdd to sdd swap put in a new ssd without partiosions and it booted but froze midway now I can clean the SSD in comandprompt but I can not make any new partitions on it because of a error VDS fails to write boot code on a disk during clean operation. Error code: 80070005@02070008 how the heck do I go forward with this. Now I have tried to do the same thing to the HDD that was in the xbox and it gives the exact same error?? HELP please

just replaced the dead hd on my xbox one s and to those asking about the offline update file, you can download from microsoft put on flashdrive and update your console, it takes patience first time i tried i got e106, second time it worked fine, just keep trying it will work. Thanks for a great video, now to clean her up and put her back together.
