My mom said: Son, when a dust storm comes, all the aesthetics will be gone, dust will easily enter inside. 😁
ОтветитьVenturi Effect: When hot air passes through the small holes of a jali, the speed of the airflow increases and pressure drops, creating a cooling effect.
Evaporative Cooling: In dry, hot Rajasthan air, jalis let in wind while reducing direct sunlight, enhancing comfort.
Air Circulation: Jalis are placed on opposite walls to maintain cross-ventilation, constantly pushing out warm air.
It would be so nice if modern-day architects incorporate these traditional Indian features into new buildings instead of copying western countries and glass towers.
