Women need to be seen as equals and men need to be able to be taken serious in time of vulnerability. We can't be put into boxes because we arnt robots. if it is able to be done, men should be able to take the positions of women and women the position of men because not everyone can be dependent on gender. it's so fluid. some people don't even identify. How the hell do we include them, especially if we are trying to put a social construct on people who don't even fit into them...

EQUALITY! To some extent peoples knowledge in certain areas is governed by their experience of it! At this stage in time, because society still treats men and women differently and still pushes them into different roles, they will generally, but not exclusively, have different experiences of life and experiences that will need to have air time on both sides so that they can eventually bring their experiences onto the same page. I dont think its right to state that as a homogenous group, either men or women are better or different in any skill set. But to some extent, as human individuals, we all have different skills and deficiencies, naturally and based on our experiences. So a woman in the 60s who has raised 3 kids would make a great teacher, not because she's a woman, but because that's what she's had experience with. Equality means giving each individual the power and resources to choose from day one, which experiences they go through and where to use them. Of course some things are beyond control, but as much as possible, people should make their own decisions and not be limited by society or expectations.
