Just wait, they will normalise this tax over a period of a few years, then they will lower it to 2 million, then 1, then 500k and so on. The reason why most people are not upset with this super tax on a tax. Is that most people will not fall into this category and so don't give a stuff. If someone has followed the rules and now the rules change and the well to do have a rug pull under them. ie They are rich who cares? Governments rely on this strategy to attack the well off first to see how it flies. The ones affected aren't the tippy top lot. They are too smart for that. Trust funds, off shore accounts, tax shelters, etc are the tippy tops method of tax avoidance. This is a litmus test for public tolerance to tyranny. Then they move the goal posts little by little. The who gives a stuff mob say again, who cares won't affect me. Until one day it does, then they say SHIT, where is the outrage?
