False statement. He wasnt told that, he was advised that in the private sector had he have done this type of work he could have been sued.

Look on the bright side. These civil servants can be as utterly useless as humanely possible and still collect gold plated retirement payouts and pensions ten years before competent people.

Don't forget when jumping on the backs of civil servants that their job is to do what their lords and masters tell them to do.

And that would have been the constant stream of tory Home Secretaries from Patel to Cleverly.

Get the picture yet?

As a contractor I’ve worked with these people on many an occasion in the past and the general incompetence of people in public office was staggering.
They could never hold a job down in normal civilian life yet these feckless people are in charge of billions of public money.

They repeatedly fail at what they are doing and move on, and they never get sacked,
In some cases you can track an individual’s career by looking back over past years at each and every project in a department that failed…. Because they were in charge of.

The Home Office is not incompetent, negligent or inefficient. They are a secretive, back room malevolent leftwing deliberately obstructive government within the parliamentary government who without elections or responsibility actually control policy and its implementation. They are secret enemy of the state hiding in clear site within the state.

No he didn't! The usual journalistic click bait.
You can't compare the skills of a career civil servant with those of a career surveyor. Or rather, you can.... Then you'd have to decide if speed was essential or whether you needed to employ surveyors to do a full survey. In the meantime, what do you do? Go door to door in inner Laaaaarndun and ask if someone would put up a family of traumatised Somalis for a couple weeks?!?!!?

No communication, never reply to emails or postal letters and yesterday when I called they have an automated voice saying that they now no longer take phone calls.
Incompetent and useless is an overstatement, never have I dealt with such a terrible department anywhere before.
They should be taken to task 👍
