Lexus LBX Morizo RR (inc. 0-100 & braking) review! Worth it over GR Yaris and GR Corolla?

I was going to test an LBX yesterday. At 185cm, with the seat at it's lowest position and steering wheel at it's highest, I couldn't get in without my legs hitting the steering wheel. Once inside the steering wheel was so low I declined to drive it. No light in the boot either.

This is so cool, I already liked the LBX but for it to have the G16E-GTS in a sportier version? I LOVE it.

Whoever in Lexus is specing these cars, black roof and wheels are so 2010s, get with the times!

Thats cheaper than a Fiat 500 in Norway, being a Lexus product its not cheap, or affordable but it's not that bad either.

If this was a classic hatch (you know, like golf) and not lifted mini suv it would look so awesome. I don't see the point of vehicles like this...

So good, sat in the gr corolla and couldn't justify the price for a car with such a basic interior. Comparing just those two in isolation, this lexus looks to be better value with a proper interior (up front).

If they'd at least included an arm rest in the second row, this would be good for someone like me with a young kid, most of my driving is highway so don't need the razor sharp models, but still plenty of fun for the odd occasion where I can have a bit of a fang.

Hard sell when you're considering having people in the back regularly

Formentor VZ pobably? 330hp + DSG + adaptive dampers + rear axle split + 0-100 4.5s + more room + cheaper? Proven drivetrain, spare parts and service etc etc.

They should be selling it in the USA at an affordable price !

This is technically a compact SUV, so can't really compare it to the hot hatches. If you are on the taller side this is a nice alternative to look at.

Stock LBX was already ambitious on price. 88 Grand for a Yaris base anything? Ludicrous.

If only it had a decent engine. Sorry but 3 cylinders is not enough. Same with the 1.6L displacement. Build one with a 500hp twin turbo V4 and I'll buy it.

Interesting to compare with a VW T Roc R which is in the ballpark on pricing and performance, but with more room inside as well as boot space.
