Ok you can disagree with me if you want to, but Spiral is my favorite saw film in the franchise

So this movie is canon to be part of the series?
Canon, but uses a copycat of John Kramer, Lawrence Gordan, Logan Nelson, and Billy?
This felt as the movie was more of a reboot rather than a continuation of the others.
At least Jigsaw had a good enough alibi to be part of the series.

This film was… alright. It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t bad either. It actually did its job fine enough, but it tries its best for what it’s worth.

I will say the jigsaw voice this time is super creepy and scares the heck out of me

I adore Saw, and had super high hopes for Spiral. I was thoroughly disapointed :(

It was SUPER pretty though, the lighting and effects were gorgeous

This is why I love every saw movie, even if they can be bad or overdone, the twist endings always get me.

James if you like a musical you should check out Repo! The Genetic Opera! It’s like a slasher rock opera that Darrell Lynn Bosman helped create and a lot of actors from the saw franchise pop up in that movie. It’s really fucking awesome. I wonder if you would be able to spot all of SAW victims you see in Repo lol. I mean YOU probably could.

I think the killer this time was the most morally justified of all the killers in this series

If this wasn't supposed to be a Saw movie then why is it a stand-alone sequel to the franchise? Make it an original film that is marketable as a Saw revenge flick. A lot of times, using an established IP name only weakens the chances of a new original premise.

A PIGGED!

This is probably the saddest Saw movie I've ever watched, because we got a completely new killer who used an AI generated voice, and yet I somehow managed to predict who the killer was based off the fact that Chris Rock's partner sounded most like The voice (I think it was more so the tone, or the pitch because I was just thinking "well it must be this guy because he's the only one who even remotely sounds like that voice, even though he doesn't really sound like that voice at all"/at first I kind of backed off my suspicions when they said that his character died, but you can imagine how disappointed I was when my first guess (which was based on complete bulshit) turned out to be right, for all of jigsaws flaws as a movie, at least in that one we couldn't predict to the new killer would be (I guess that one ended up being dumb too, but at least from what I can remember you couldn't call it off some complete bull hockey)

I enjoyed this one! Whenever I closed my eyes, I see Osmosis Jones saying those lines Chris Rock makes.
