Informative. Shallow, ill prepared interviewer, but informative.
Really? You couldn't set up a quiet area for your interview? The background sounds are distracting. Interviewing 101...
The V? Really, do your homework. Again, Interviewing 101...
Awesome :)
Ответитьfantastic actor, i love visitors original series, v-2009 it's very bad tv shov
ОтветитьThis is a very intelligent man with depth and understanding and very talented too.Still looking good after all these years
ОтветитьHi! I used to see Mr. Singer when he was in his "conservatory days" and a bit beyond at the University of Washington's Professional Actor's Training Program. He appeared at ACT in Harold Pinter's "The Birthday Party" (w/Len Lesser of TV fame!) as well as other plays there & at Seattle Rep! Everyone thought he was amazing then, and he's clearly had a good career! I am so looking forward to his book on Shakespeare!
ОтветитьShakespeare? No wonder he was so brilliant!
ОтветитьCome to Argentina pleaseee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьYou know what Marc singer stars in The Beastmaster (1982) & tv's V (1985) but he should star in Toho's Monster movie call'ed The Return of Godzilla (1984) also known as Godzilla 1985 that he should star in back then in the 80's!
ОтветитьGrew up watching him in V and loved his poignant portrayal of Tom Sullivan. I had no idea how articulate and genuine he is in real life. My heart goes out to him, having just heard of the sad death of his wife. God bless, Mr. Singer.
ОтветитьOne of my heros
ОтветитьHappy 70th Birthday Marc Singer <3
ОтветитьWhat's the music at the start of the interview does anyone know
ОтветитьIl y aura t-il de nouveaux v ?
ОтветитьHello Marc bye you sisters Jane Badler and me Lisa tvtb
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьSuch a legend!
ОтветитьAbsolutely admire this guy because he's down-to-Earth and seems as if he is connected with reality - unlike most Hollywood types. I started studying martial arts in 1979 and while serving in the Marine Corp in 1982, I saw the Beastmaster in the On-base theater at NAS memphis TN. I view the film at least 4-5 times per year simply because it's simply fun to watch; besides the sword techniques are terrific and his karate isn't bad as well. Since he still trains in Gung Fu, I would certainly like to see him play a more physical role at this age. Love ya Marc and have been dedicated fan since '82.

As a side note: I'm 54 y/o and My Bucket list is to spend the day practicing Kenjutsu (sword) with Marc before one of us kicks the bucket.

It's quite sweet the way he said he bonded with the tiger in Beastmaster. Nice bloke ! The immortal words shall ring forth into eternity "The animals, they are my friends". :)
ОтветитьDonovan Mr
ОтветитьFabulous man ! Marvelous actor ! Love serie V ! Thank you very much for the vidéo !
ОтветитьThe beast master was one of my earliest memories of realizing I was a young budding homosexual.
ОтветитьJe pense que la première série V était bien mais il y aurait fallu continuer et voir la suite, d'où qu'ils viennent ( de leur planète)!
ОтветитьIf You Could See What I Hear is still mt favorite movie of Marc's.
ОтветитьA gentleman that talks a lot of sense, i have always loved Marc as Mike Donovan in "V", he was a early crush of mine actually lol. As he has got more matured he really gives back in his interviews and appearances and has a lot of wisdom in his answers. I always gravitate towards people like that.
ОтветитьTerrible patronising interweiwer ,but kudos to mark Singer for being the consumate proffessinal and showing so much humility to a moronic interviewer. An
actor who deserved a better showcase for his talents. Nice he said this educational, interetsting stuff to such a clunky interview, he's out there to propergate in the nicest sense!
Beast Master was one of my favorite childhood movies.
ОтветитьI am spanish and I have rewatched “V” tv series some days ago.
I had never watched a Marc Singer’s interview and he seems a humble man to me. It is interesting to know his passion for theatre, classical music and other arts.
Marc is simply awesome.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved him in v, was totally in love with him. What an eloquent and genuinely nice man he is.
ОтветитьDefinitely it's Mike Donovan ✌️✌️
ОтветитьThis interviewer I am guessing knew next to nothing about Singers career before the interview and probably hadnt seen anything he has done.. You can tell because all of the questions were pretty generic and not anything specific.
ОтветитьMitico 👍 ♥️
ОтветитьA younger co-worker ask me today ..what old school movie do I recommend, and I said...The BeastMaster! A classic for sure! I would love to see, an updated interview with Marc, thanks for the upload!
ОтветитьGreat interview.
ОтветитьHe seems like such a nice guy. Was definitely one of my childhood heroes.
ОтветитьI loved him as BeastMaster. My favorite movie. 😊❤❤❤
ОтветитьHe looks like Kevin bacon
ОтветитьAnche io Marc Singer fan. Bravo e fantastico. 😁😁☮️☮️👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьLoved beastmaster ….it was the original He-man type thingy 😂
ОтветитьSeems like such a nice person. Great actor. Thank you for these interviews.❤
ОтветитьMarc is amazing!
ОтветитьMaravilloso actor ❤❤,muy calido
ОтветитьMy credit on Beastmaster was Asst. Production Designer. I designed all the sets that were on the Van Nuys warehouse "sound stage". (Tunnels, pods forest, dungeon, etc.) William Strom designed all the Semi-Valley location village sets and pyramid human sacrifice set. The wide shot of the village on the hill across from Marc Singer's (Dar) was a forced perspective miniature about 20 ft ahead of Marc's point of view. It was so real looking that when you were standing in front of it, it STILL looked like it was on the hill across the valley! It was John Alcott's last picture before he passed away. He did not use a light meter to check the F-stop for the camera, he used an old Polaroid black & white camera. If It look right, that was what they set for the camera. He was amazing to watch. As you may know, if you dim a stage light's voltage, it changes the color temperature to a warmer fire light or candle light look. I watched him use a flash light while walking just out of frame with Marc so that his face could be seen on film moving in the dark. The reason I am taking the time to write is because it was a wonderful time to be working on films like this with people like Mr. Alcott. (He won an Oscar for Barry Lyndon)That time of miniatures instead of CGI today, practical locations instead of stage blue screen and so on. I wish there were more You Tube videos for young people to learn how films were made in the golden era of "Hollywood". You can still use your talent and ingenuity and inexpensive 4K cameras to make films that look like you spent millions to do so. Sadly, a lot of that talent on Beastmaster and others like it have passed on, with only a few of us sharing the stories of behind the scenes. Marc was a great guy to be around. I am glad he is still with us.
ОтветитьBEASTMASTER 1 IS A MASTERPIECE! THANKS MARC SINGER!
