Looks very Japanese if you ask me. Japanese have the “dao” going on from ancient days to modern... China’s I never ever even seen the traditions in any drama, movies or shows or dances till now (modern days)... all da sudden they appear like da Japanese copycats. Why????
Ответитьarchery first fell to the first person namely the Prophet Adam from heaven, arrows are weapons used at the beginning and end of the war of mankind.
They're both shooting Alibow Ghengis Khan bows lol. Patterned after a 13th century rock burial in Mongolia. They shoot quite nicely for a fibreglass bow.
Just one question: What is the name of chinese song?
My two cents here. Japanese 弓 is different. It’s longer and archer holds the lower part of the 弓 never the middle. Yes, Japanese learned a lot from China back in the day and made it their own version. So please stop saying Japan is copying.
This is Kyudo lol
The Chinese and Japanese make rituals of everything. No fun or improvement in skill in rituals. I bet Chinese warriors did not indulge. These rituals are just another form of hobby/sport.
I really love trad archery
And also those composite recurves
This is very much like japanese archery, they probably learned it from them.
One different question: How is this music piece called?
Many Chinese media Portrays and claims Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese culture as theirs of late. It's won't take long till they claim Pasta as their dish, all the Silken clothing of western culture as their own.
Plagiarism of Japanese archery

Because they don’t have their culture, they just take away from others.
It doesn't matter if it's true to them. If it looks good, it's theirs.
Like a 5 year old child
Chinese people don’t know why people all over the world hate them.
Today Chinese like to copy Korean or Japanese culture. It very looks like Japanese 'gyudo'.
Ответитьjust shoot, no dance
China proving they can only rip things off from other traditions.
Is this type of archery still being practice in mainland China.
Maybe they have cctv in ancient time.
Ответитьthis is japanes shooting. so funny~
why chinese shot the bow as japanese way?
you have your own way.
It looks like a mix of Japanese and Chinese archery.
It looks like they simply copied japanese traditional archery technique to me. Since when did they wear the clothes like that. If they have any historic records left depicting Chinese traditional archery technique, I would reconsider it.
Oh Japanese archer
Camera rotation making me giddy
Ответитьyeah totally not true, a mix of some Japanese Kyudo and imagination
(the releasing is so unnatural and disgusting to watch
it looks like a japanesee kyudo. I think China archery originated from japan kyudo.
Unfortunately, Chinese archery is *made up from guesswork*, as the continuing line of the art died out during the 20th century, and there's not records of what it looked like. It was wiped from activity during the communist era - what we see here is a a reconstructed martial art put together from pictures and guesswork, so not really accurate. It looks very much like they have based it on Japanese Kyudo.
LOL Japanese took half of top off because of their massive sleeve were interfering when firing a longbow. I don't know who made this "Ritual Studies" but they are just stealing others culture.
Ответитьso beautiful. really similar to kyudo
It would have been nice to see a copy of Manchu or Mongolian archery.
and Modern China is descended from the Manchu Qing Dynasty. The Han Chinese do not remember the Ming Dynasty.
trying to do something, don't know, so just copying the Japanese archery that is good to show.
Nakaka Hilo vedeo mu
Man, they fabricated "The Way of Archery in China" in a way too similar with Kyudo and calling it a 3000 years thing.
They should have had their own things, bro. Thinking of countless children being grown up on this bs, it's almost scary they made up things like this and being proud of it.
Everything about china's history is fake
This form have largely influenced Japanese Kyudo archery.
Cringe Japanese larpers lmfao
Give me horse archery. This feels slow
Ответитьshameless plagiarism
Ответитьthe music is beautiful what song is it?
Ancient Chinese people attached great importance to archery and elevated it to the level of a national ceremony, known as the 射禮"Archery Ceremony".
The emperor of Zhou held a large-scale ceremony every year, and all the princes and ministers participated in the shooting ceremony. Since then, this tradition has been inherited by successive dynasties.
Archery is also one of the two military-related skills among the 六藝 six skills that Confucius believed a gentleman must master. Archery and chariot driving, because the main form of warfare in Confucius' time was chariot warfare between nobles.
Beautiful 😊
This archery is came from Murals and Clothes Artefact and Weapon and also preserved sites and culture in China, it is China original culture.
