I really enjoyed the first clone wars animation it fits the gap between episodes 2 and 3 perfect and I was looking forward to the new clone wars show until they cut revan and banes appearance but rebels is good so far

Until Luke in The Last Jedi says the Jedi need to end because they fucked everything up and as more harmful than good. I dunno. 1,000 generations is a pretty long streak of benevolence.

For over a thousand generations the Star Wars universe expanded, before the dark times. Before the mouse.

The go-to line whenever someone tries to argue in favor of TLJ's garbage about how the Jedi have to end. "Oh but they helped create the Empire". Boo hoo. "For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the Dark Times. Before the Empire". The Empire began when Luke was born. So a thousand generations of peace vs what, 18 years of evil? And that 18 years of evil was ended by a Jedi who wasn't even fully trained yet? Wow. Yeah those Jedi really gotta go.

But apparently, because the Empire ruled for 30 years and Luke freaked out because he thought his nephew might become evil, the Jedi are apparently huge failures... even though 1000 generations of peace was seen across the galaxy due to their help.

Needed to find this line as I am confused why Disney is making it the High Republic and 200ish years before Battle Of Yavin. That doesn't sound like thousands of generations and he specifically calls it the Old Republic not High Republic.

And then?....

After the Prequels debuted, Prequel haters whined that Lucas had ruined their childhood. They then had the (insert sarcasm here) "bright idea" that getting rid of Lucas and bullying him into selling Lucasfilm to outsiders was best.

They were told this was a HORRIBLE idea that would have SERIOUSLY BAD CONSEQUENCES on the STAR WARS universe but, they just laughed and laughed and laughed - when it was announced that Di$ney would now take over STAR WARS - and said stupid, poorly thought out things like, "Di$ney will NEVER ruin STAR WARS! Look at what they've done with Marvel! Keep enjoying your "Prequels", your "OT", your "SWEU" and stay in the past! Meanwhile, we'll be enjoying the "BEST" new star wars films by Di$ney which will be "soooo much better" than anything Lucas could evar make!!!"...

Fast forward just 8+ short years later and STAR WARS, once the "king of the hill" of the cinema world is in complete SHAMBLES and has now been reduced to what?...

Being a shameless, pathetically fan-service drenched TV show drowning in predictable and overused Di$ney clichés and airing on a garbage pay-to-watch streaming service that Di$ney has duped gullible Pro-Di$ney drones who accept and slobber at anything and everything with the SW logo on it and "triggered-only-when-it's-convenient" Fandom Menace sheep (both groups two sides of the same USELESS coin), who bitch and moan about Di$ney ruining SW but then switch back to "sheep mode" as soon as Di$ney gives them a "wannabe Boba Fett" show featuring the biggest and typical Di$ney cliché of all - "Baby Yoda" - into paying for...

Rewind to Oct. 30th of 2012, when all the bandwagon riding Prequel haters (most of which turned into Pro-Di$ney drones who later spawned all the "Fandom Menace" flip-flopping hypocrites) happily kicked Lucas out, rolled out the red carpet and welcomed Di$ney with "giant smiles & open arms" and above all, laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed at us when we warned them that Di$ney would ruin STAR WARS...

On behalf of all (and the few) of us, who stood against the unrelenting tidal wave of ridicule, mockery, threats and unending and sarcastic laughter by those who assured us that Di$ney would "make everything great!" - we got one final question:
